Galaxy Z Flip 5: a large discount on an older foldable
The reported offers were for unlocked phones: $579.99 for 256GB and $654.99 for 512GB. The $465 saving belongs only to the 512GB model compared with the stated $1,120 regular price; it is not the saving for every Flip 5 listing. At the time, the roundup contrasted the discounted Flip 5 with the newly launching Z Flip 6, which it described as $100 more expensive and an incremental upgrade. That was a July 2024 comparison, not guidance about today’s generation or relative pricing.
For a buyer considering a present-day listing, compare the exact newer-model price and the condition of the Flip 5 rather than relying on its old discount. Sony headphones: XM4 was the headline bargain
The WH-1000XM4 was reported at $198, $150 below the stated $348 regular price. The roundup called it a lowest price tracked at a major trusted retailer outside limited or customer-specific offers. That is an attributed historical tracking claim, not a universal record or current price. XM4 was a previous-generation Sony model at the time, not the newest flagship.

These are historical figures, not a like-for-like test. OnePlus Watch 2 versus Watch 2R

“Best price ever” is the publisher’s characterization based on its own tracking, not an Amazon certification.
