Short answer: As of August 18, 2026, Google’s public offers page does not verify a generally available free Pixel Watch LTE promotion for Google Fi subscribers. A targeted offer may appear in an individual Fi account, but confirm its exact model, credits and conditions before ordering. Google Fi’s no-extra-cost smartwatch connectivity is a service benefit—not a free-watch offer.
What is confirmed—and what is not
Google Fi supports Pixel Watch models from the first generation onward. For supported watches, calling, texting and data are included with Fi at no additional wearable-service charge. The watch shares the phone’s number and cannot be activated as a standalone Fi plan. Those benefits do not establish that Google is giving away the watch hardware. Google Fi’s compatibility and setup guidance explains the service requirements.
Google’s public offers page documents other current promotions, but does not clearly list a standalone free Pixel Watch LTE deal for existing Fi subscribers. Treat a social post, old promotion or retailer bundle as unverified unless the offer appears in your Fi account or has current, offer-specific terms. The public documentation does not establish a current watch model, credit amount, credit term or eligibility rule, so none should be assumed.

In the Google Fi app or website, open Billing → Fi savings to review earned, pending and in-progress promotions. Open the specific promotion for its details. Before placing an order, make sure the offer terms answer each of these questions:

- Exact watch: Which generation, case size and color qualify? Does it specifically require LTE rather than Wi-Fi, and must it be bought from Fi, Google Store or another named seller?
- Eligibility: Is the offer for existing subscribers, new customers or selected accounts? Does it require a particular plan, phone line, Pixel phone, account status or a new activation?
- Credit math: What is the eligible device price, the monthly credit and the number of months? Do the credits add up to the full eligible device cost?
- Timing and limits: What is the purchase or activation deadline? Is there a per-account or per-member limit, and can the offer be combined with another promotion?
- Early exit: What happens if you cancel, pause service, change plans, or change devices before the credits finish?
Save screenshots of the offer banner, complete terms, device price, activation confirmation and the promotion status in Fi savings. Check the first bill to confirm that the expected charge and credit appear. A promotion can be targeted, time-limited or inventory-dependent; seeing someone else’s offer does not prove your account qualifies.
When does “free with bill credits” actually mean free?
A bill-credit promotion commonly charges or finances the device first, then offsets eligible costs with credits over time. The watch is effectively free only if you qualify, complete every required step and receive all the credits specified by that particular offer. A zero monthly device payment alone does not establish a zero net cost.
Use this calculation before deciding:
Net cost = device price + taxes and shipping + required plan costs + protection or accessory costs − promotional credits actually received

Taxes, shipping, optional protection, Pixel Care+, bands and other accessories may still cost extra. Google Fi says its monthly credits can apply to eligible service charges, taxes, fees and device financing, but they do not cover device protection or Pixel Care+. Do not apply the length or rules of a phone promotion to a watch offer. Some public Google promotions use long credit periods and have their own plan, activation and cancellation conditions; only the terms attached to the watch offer establish its commitment.

Leaving Fi can make the watch cost money
Credits are conditional, not a cash discount that you can count on regardless of what happens to the account. Google Fi says canceling service cancels remaining monthly promotional credits, while any outstanding financed-device balance remains owed. Current promotion terms can also make pausing service or changing plans a reason credits end. The exact consequences depend on the watch offer’s terms, so read them before enrolling rather than assuming you can switch carriers freely.
If you may leave Fi before the final credit, compare the savings with the balance you could owe and the credits you would forfeit. Also account for any required plan cost: an offer can be a poor deal if keeping eligibility means paying for a plan you otherwise would not choose.

Fi smartwatch requirements and limits
Free watch service and a free watch are separate questions. For supported LTE activation, Google Fi requires an active Fi plan, a compatible Android phone running Android 13 or later, and a supported Pixel Watch model sold in the U.S. You need the Google Fi app and Google Pixel Watch app, and both should use the correct account. iPhones and iPads cannot use Pixel Watch cellular calling, texting or data through Fi. International watch models are not supported for Fi LTE activation.
Fi smartwatch connectivity uses T-Mobile’s network and is supported in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, not worldwide. Google also notes that texts may not work reliably when the paired phone is off or outside coverage. LTE hardware lets a watch connect away from the phone where service is available; it does not turn the watch into an independent Fi account or phone replacement. Activate the watch if your offer qualifies
- Turn on Bluetooth on both the Android phone and watch.
- Install or update the Google Fi app and Google Pixel Watch app.
- Pair the watch using the Pixel Watch app.
- During setup, choose the mobile-service option, select your Google Fi account and follow the setup prompts.
- Wait for activation to finish. Do not scan a QR code for Google Fi watch activation.
If activation fails, update both apps through Google Play, confirm that the phone and apps use the right Fi account, and verify Fi service is active. Then open Settings → Apps → Google Fi → Storage & cache, clear the app’s cache and storage, and sign in again. If necessary, reset the watch and repeat pairing and activation. If the offer or activation still does not appear, contact Fi support with your account and device details.
Who should take the offer?
A verified offer may suit someone who wants that specific LTE model, already plans to keep Fi through the entire credit period, meets the activation deadline and would choose the required plan anyway. It is a weaker fit if you expect to switch or pause service, use an iPhone, want a standalone watch plan, have an international model, or would need an uneconomical plan to qualify. It may also be less valuable if your bill is too small to use the full monthly credit and unused amounts are forfeited.

Until offer-specific terms appear in your account, the reliable takeaway is narrower: Fi includes service for supported Pixel smartwatches at no extra wearable charge, but a free Pixel Watch LTE device promotion is not confirmed as generally available in Google’s public offer details. Decide on a hardware deal only after your own Fi account shows its complete terms and the numbers work for your situation.
