Status: expired. Samsung’s UK 2025 pre-order promotion for the Galaxy Watch8, Watch8 Classic and Galaxy Watch Ultra ended on 2 September 2025. The final date to claim was 2 October 2025, so this accessory bundle is no longer claimable. It offered a charger and a model-specific band after an eligible purchase and valid claim—not a cash discount off the watch.
What the pre-order bonus included
The promotion paired every eligible watch with Samsung’s 15W Duo Pad Wireless Charger. The band depended on the model:

These are the accessory RRPs stated in the promotion terms, not guaranteed cash savings. The practical value depended on whether you wanted those particular accessories and what they could be bought for elsewhere. If you already had a suitable charger or would not wear the included band, the headline value overstated what the bundle was worth to you.

Dates and launch context
Samsung announced the watches on 9 July 2025; general availability was scheduled for 25 July. The promotion ran until 23:59 BST on 2 September 2025. Buyers had to submit a claim between one and 30 days after purchase, and no later than 23:59 BST on 2 October 2025. The dates and bundle details are set out in the offer terms and Samsung’s launch announcement.

As of August 2026, the claim window has long closed. A purchase during the offer period did not create an indefinite right to claim: the final deadline still applied.
Who qualified—and what could disqualify a purchase?
The terms covered residents of the UK, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Republic of Ireland who were at least 18, bought a new eligible watch from a participating retailer for personal use, and submitted a valid claim. A shop stocking a watch was not necessarily a participating retailer. Auction sites and third-party marketplace sellers—including Amazon Marketplace sellers—were excluded.

Eligibility depended on the exact product code, not just the name printed in an advert. Bluetooth and LTE versions, sizes, regional variants, Samsung.com colours and retailer-specific stock could have different model codes. The terms listed qualifying SKUs; a product-family name alone was not enough to establish eligibility. Anyone checking a historical purchase should compare the model code on the invoice or box with the applicable terms.
The offer allowed one reward per promotion product and a maximum of four rewards per household. Returning or cancelling the watch invalidated the reward claim; a buyer who had claimed and then returned the watch was required to cancel the claim.

How the claim worked
During the claim period, eligible buyers used the Samsung promotion portal. The process required purchase details and proof of purchase, plus two serial-number images: one showing the serial number in the watch’s settings and another showing the serial number on the back of the watch itself. A photo of the retail packaging alone did not meet that requirement.
- Buy an eligible watch from a participating retailer within the promotion period.
- Once you had the watch and could access its serial number, go to the promotion portal.
- Enter the requested personal and purchase details and upload the proof of purchase.
- Upload the settings-screen serial-number image and a clear photo of the serial number on the watch back.
- Submit within the one-to-30-day claim window and before the final deadline. Keep the confirmation email and claim reference.
The terms allowed up to seven days for validation. A validated reward was to be dispatched by recorded delivery within 45 days. If Samsung contacted an applicant about incorrect or missing information, the terms allowed seven days to supply it; incomplete, damaged, late or otherwise non-compliant claims could be rejected. For any claim dispute, useful records include the invoice, order and delivery confirmations, serial-number photos, claim confirmation and any correction-request emails. The reward could be substituted with one of equal or greater value in unforeseen circumstances.

Which watch made sense for which buyer?
The accessories were the same kind of bonus across the range, but the watches were aimed at different needs. The bundle alone does not make the more expensive model the better deal.

It suits buyers who want the standard model without paying specifically for the Classic’s physical bezel or the Ultra’s rugged positioning.
- Galaxy Watch8 Classic: A 46mm model with a physical rotating bezel and quick button. It is the fit for people who value traditional watch styling and bezel controls, while accepting the larger, heavier form and higher price than the standard Watch8.
- Galaxy Watch Ultra: The rugged, outdoor-focused option, with titanium finishes and the longest battery life in the lineup. It may suit longer outings or buyers who prioritise durability and battery life, but its £20 larger stated accessory bundle does not by itself justify the higher watch price.
At launch, Samsung listed the Watch8 with an Exynos W1000 five-core 3nm processor, 2GB memory and 32GB storage; the Classic had 2GB memory and 64GB storage. The Watch8 batteries were 325mAh (40mm) and 435mAh (44mm), while the Classic’s was 445mAh. Samsung also cited display brightness up to 3,000 nits, Wear OS 6 with One UI 8 Watch and Gemini support at launch. These details may help distinguish the models, but they do not change the expired offer’s claim rules.

Samsung outright purchase versus Vodafone monthly pricing
At launch, Vodafone advertised the Watch8 from £13 a month, the Watch8 Classic from £15.50 a month and the Ultra from £24.50 a month, with no upfront cost in the advertised configurations. Those were not like-for-like outright watch prices: Vodafone’s figures involved device finance and a connectivity plan. The launch announcement also said monthly charges were scheduled to rise on 1 April 2026 and 1 April 2027.
To compare a contract with buying outright, add up the device and connectivity charges over the full term, including scheduled increases. Check whether you need LTE connectivity, whether you already use Vodafone, what data or shared-plan features are included, and the contract’s return, cancellation and upgrade terms. A low “from” figure is not automatically the cheaper option, particularly if Bluetooth would meet your needs or you do not want a recurring connectivity charge.
What to check if you are buying now
Do not treat the 2025 charger-and-band bundle as a current incentive. Samsung’s current UK buying pages show later trade-in and other offers, which are separate promotions with their own dates and conditions. The cited current Samsung terms say trade-in value varies with device and condition, allow one trade-in device under that offer and cap the discount at 60% of the product price before discount. Those rules should not be applied retroactively to the 2025 offer.
For a current purchase, check the live offer on the retailer’s page and read its eligibility and expiry terms before ordering. Compare the exact size, colour and Bluetooth/LTE model, the outright price after any eligible trade-in, and the full cost of any network plan. Samsung’s Galaxy Watch8 UK buying page is one place to check current direct-purchase offers; availability and terms can change.
