The Gizmore Blaze Max launched in India on January 16, 2023, at an introductory price of ₹1,199. Its headline features were a 1.85-inch IPS LCD, a stated peak brightness of 450 nits, Bluetooth calling and a claimed battery life of up to 15 days. That battery figure is not established as normal-use endurance: later listings report much shorter active-use runtimes, and current stock and software support are uncertain.
Launch price, date and availability
Gizmore announced the Blaze Max for India on January 16, 2023, with an introductory price of ₹1,199. The launch coverage said it would be sold through Flipkart in Black, Burgundy and Grey. Later specification listings identify the model as GIZFIT 931; that identifier appears in retailer databases rather than the launch announcement. Gizmochina’s launch report and Smartprix’s listing provide those details.
By August 2026, the Blaze Max is an older model, not a new launch. Recent retailer and price-tracker pages show figures around ₹1,499 to ₹1,800, while some listings are out of stock. These are marketplace or tracker prices, not a confirmed current official Gizmore price; check the exact seller, availability and listing before buying. Display: a large LCD with a 450-nit claim
The Blaze Max has a rectangular IPS LCD listed as 1.85 inches, with 240 × 280-pixel resolution in later specifications. Some listings round the size to 1.84 inches; this appears to be a listing inconsistency, not evidence of a different display. It is LCD, not AMOLED, and launch and product coverage also describe curved-glass styling and an always-on display.

Gizmore’s launch materials state brightness of up to 450 nits. That figure may help visibility in brighter surroundings, but it does not establish excellent direct-sunlight readability. The available launch coverage does not provide independent brightness measurements or testing of outdoor legibility, glare, viewing angles or touch response. Gizmochina, Cashify and Smartprix report the display specifications.
Battery life: 15 days is not a dependable active-use estimate
Gizmore advertised up to 15 days of battery life, but later listings separate standby from active-use endurance and report substantially shorter runtimes. None of the listed figures comes with enough test conditions to treat it as a guaranteed result for every owner.

Bluetooth calls, always-on display, high brightness, frequent health measurements, notifications and sports tracking can all draw more power than standby. If battery reliability is important, do not buy on the assumption that the watch will last 15 days under everyday use.

The watch has a built-in microphone and speaker for Bluetooth calling. Reported call features include answering or rejecting incoming calls, a dial pad, recent calls and contact storage; one specification listing says it can store up to 10 contacts. Bluetooth 5.0 is reported in later databases. Music controls and a find-my-phone function are also listed. These details appear across Gizmochina’s launch report, Cashify and Smartprix.

Calling is Bluetooth-based, not standalone phone service: the Blaze Max needs to stay connected to a compatible smartphone. Call quality therefore depends on the phone’s proximity, the Bluetooth connection and the watch’s microphone and speaker. The available specifications do not establish LTE, eSIM, Wi-Fi, phone-free emergency calling or a full app ecosystem.
Health and activity tracking
Reported wellness and activity functions include:
- Heart-rate and SpO₂ readings
- Sleep, stress and menstrual-cycle tracking
- Step counting, calorie estimates and distance tracking
- Guided breathing and hydration alerts
- Multiple sports modes and an accelerometer or G-sensor
These are consumer wellness features, not medical instruments. The launch material does not establish clinical validation or accuracy testing, so do not use the readings to diagnose a condition or make medical decisions. Feature lists are reported by Gizmochina, India Times and Cashify.

Water resistance, design and software
IP67 protection has limits
Launch and specification coverage lists an IP67 rating. This indicates dust protection and temporary immersion under specified test conditions; it is not a swimming rating. Avoid swimming, diving, hot showers, sauna use and high-pressure water exposure. Salt water also calls for care. Impact, wear, degraded seals or repairs can weaken water resistance. Gizmochina and Cashify report the rating.

Launch coverage says the watch pairs with Android and iOS phones through JYouPro, also called JYouPro Health Suit in one report. Reported app-related features include health dashboards, notifications, watch faces and calling functions. Launch material also mentions a rectangular metal-style body, silicone strap, split-screen interface, multiple watch faces and Hindi-language support. Other listed extras include a calculator, mini-games, alarm, stopwatch, timer, weather display and air-quality information on the home screen. These promotional feature lists do not establish that every function remains available today.

Current JYouPro availability, minimum phone OS versions, privacy and data-retention terms, firmware updates and continued compatibility after app or operating-system updates are not established in the launch reports. That uncertainty matters more for an older watch than a headline feature count: app restrictions can affect notifications, pairing and watch-face downloads. What to check before buying one in 2026
Because listings and support status are inconsistent, check the specific unit and seller rather than relying on an old product page. This is particularly important if buying old stock, where a low price may not guarantee usable accessories or current support.
- Confirm the listing is for Blaze Max / GIZFIT 931, not a similarly named Gizmore Blaze variant.
- Check seller identity, return window, warranty validity, and whether the unit is new, refurbished or open-box.
- Confirm the proprietary charger is included and ask about replacement availability.
- If possible, verify that JYouPro installs on your phone and that the watch pairs before the return period ends.
- Test calling and notifications with your own phone; pairing and calling may rely on separate Bluetooth connections, and phone battery-management settings can interrupt app notifications.
- Expect shorter battery runtime with calling, always-on display, high brightness and frequent measurements; re-pairing after switching phones may require unpairing the old phone first.
There is no reliable current support manual in the available coverage for exact troubleshooting menu paths, so these checks should be done through the seller’s return process rather than assumed settings.

It can make sense only as a low-cost basic smartwatch if a reliable seller has the exact model in stock, the buyer mainly wants notifications, basic activity tracking and occasional Bluetooth calls, and the seller offers dependable returns and warranty support. Its original low price and broad feature list were attractive at launch; in 2026, uncertain app longevity and inconsistent stock matter more.
Skip it if you need predictable long battery life, GPS, LTE or eSIM, swimming support, medically dependable readings, or a clearly supported current software ecosystem. Newer Gizmore models are listed in marketplaces, but the available listing data does not provide controlled evidence to call any one objectively superior.
