Google Store listings now include accessories made by Spigen, not just Google-branded products: Pixel Watch bands and protective cases, plus a silicone case for Google TV Streamer (4K). The first listings drew attention in November 2024 because Google’s own store had largely featured Google-branded Pixel Watch bands. The distinction matters: these are third-party products sold through Google’s retail channel, not accessories made by Google.
What changed—and when
On November 7, 2024, 9to5Google reported that Google had added a Spigen Pixel Watch band and the Spigen Silicone Fit Case for Google TV Streamer to its store. The notable part was not that third-party Pixel Watch bands had suddenly become available anywhere; they were already sold by outside retailers. Rather, Google was listing one through its own storefront, alongside a Spigen case for its streaming device.
Since then, the selection has expanded. Google Store pages now list multiple Spigen accessories for Pixel Watch 4, including a silicone band and protective case options. That suggests the original listing was not necessarily a one-off, though Store listings alone do not establish a formal change in Google’s accessory strategy. Availability, shipping regions, and stock can change; check the product page for your country before buying.

These compatibility details come from the individual product listings. Do not assume that an accessory listed for Pixel Watch 4 fits Pixel Watch, Pixel Watch 2, or Pixel Watch 3, or that the 41 mm and 45 mm versions are interchangeable. Google’s Pixel Watch band catalog also distinguishes compatibility by watch generation and size.

The TV Streamer case is not a Chromecast case
The Spigen Silicone Fit Case is listed for the Google TV Streamer (4K) only. It is not identified as compatible with Chromecast with Google TV, an older and different device. Google’s listing specifies silicone, Porcelain color, dimensions of 4.96 × 1.65 × 0.86 inches, and a weight of 1.73 ounces (49 grams).
It is a shell for the streamer hardware, not protection for the TV, remote, HDMI cable, or Google account. Before using a close-fitting case, check that cables connect cleanly, the device has adequate ventilation, and the case works with the way you place or mount the streamer. The listing’s dimensions and material do not by themselves establish thermal performance or independent durability.

Why a third-party Pixel Watch band is noteworthy
Pixel Watch bands use Google-specific attachment hardware rather than a standard universal watch-band mount. That makes an officially listed third-party band more notable than an ordinary case for a device with widely shared dimensions: the attachment must be designed for the watch’s connector. Historically, Google’s own Store selection was dominated by Google-branded bands, while third-party alternatives could be found elsewhere.

It is a retail signal, not proof that Google made the product or that every aspect of its quality, comfort, or long-term wear matches a first-party band. A connector that appears to fit is not the whole fit test: buyers should consider whether it locks securely, suits their wrist, stays fastened during their activities, and feels comfortable against their skin.

Google Store-listed, Made for Google, and Google-made are different things
- Google-made: An accessory presented as a Google product and made by Google.
- Google Store-listed third-party accessory: A product made by another company and sold through Google’s store. Store placement does not turn it into a Google-made product.
- Made for Google: Google’s compatibility program supports third-party partners with device information and technical support as they develop, test, and certify accessories for Google products.
- Other third-party accessory: A product sold independently; it may or may not be part of Google’s certification program.
Google recommends looking for Made for Google accessories as a way to help ensure Pixel compatibility in its compatibility guidance. Certification is useful evidence about compatibility, but it is not the same as Google manufacturing the item, promising a particular level of durability, or handling every warranty claim.
The TV Streamer case page makes the responsibility distinction explicit: it says Spigen certified the product to meet Google’s compatibility standards, while Google is not responsible for the product’s operation or compliance with safety or other requirements. Read the seller’s and manufacturer’s applicable warranty and return terms rather than inferring coverage from the Google Store listing.

What to check before buying
For a Pixel Watch band or case
- Match the watch and case size. Confirm the exact generation and whether your watch is 41 mm or 45 mm. Do not infer cross-generation compatibility from the brand or appearance.
- Check attachment and fastening. Look for a connector that fully seats and locks, and a fastening system appropriate to your wrist and activities. A poorly secured band could put the watch at risk of falling.
- Choose for use, not only looks. Silicone may suit exercise and water exposure; a protective TPU case adds bulk and changes the watch’s appearance. Raised edges can help shield the display but may affect how easily you swipe from the edges.
- Consider comfort and care. Think about wrist circumference, sweat, lint, skin sensitivity, and how the material may feel over a full day. These are individual fit considerations, not claims that one listed band has been tested as more comfortable or safer than another.
- Check the purchase terms. Verify current regional stock, price, delivery, and return or warranty responsibility on the live listing. A Google Store purchase does not, by itself, mean Google assumes the manufacturer’s warranty obligations.
For the Google TV Streamer case
Confirm that your device is Google TV Streamer (4K), not Chromecast with Google TV. Check cable access, ventilation, stability, and fit with your intended placement. The product is a protective shell for the streamer; it cannot prevent software issues or problems with streaming services.
Bottom line
The meaningful development is that Google’s own store began carrying selected Spigen accessories, starting with a Pixel Watch band and a Google TV Streamer case in 2024, and now listing additional Pixel Watch 4 options. That gives shoppers another place to find third-party accessories, but it does not make those products Google-made or guarantee universal compatibility or Google warranty coverage. Match the accessory to the exact device and size, and read the current product and purchase terms before ordering.
