Google’s Canadian launch prices for the Pixel 9 lineup started at CA$1,099 for the Pixel 9, while the Pixel Watch 3 started at CA$479 and the Pixel Buds Pro 2 cost CA$299. These are the launch/MSRP prices announced on August 13, 2024—not necessarily what you will pay in 2026.
The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL became available on August 22, 2024, followed by the Pixel 9 Pro Fold on September 4, the Pixel Watch 3 on September 10 and the Pixel Buds Pro 2 on September 26. Google’s Canadian Store pages should be checked separately for current stock, sales and configuration pricing.
Canadian launch prices at a glance
Google’s Made by Google 2024 lineup included four phones—the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold—alongside the Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2. Google announced the collection on August 13, 2024.

The detailed Canadian launch pricing and availability figures were reported by iPhone in Canada. All prices below are in Canadian dollars and are generally before provincial sales tax.

The standard Pixel 9 was the least expensive phone in the lineup. The launch listing reported the 128GB and 256GB versions at the same CA$1,099 price, making the 256GB model the more attractive choice if that configuration is available at the quoted price.
The Canadian Google Store Pixel 9 page displayed a starting price of CA$1,099 in the research pass. Current availability and promotions can differ.
Pixel 9 Pro
The Pixel 9 Pro started at CA$1,349. The available Canadian launch report did not provide a complete storage-by-storage price ladder, so it is more accurate to use “starting at” than to imply that CA$1,349 covered every configuration.

Google positioned the Pixel 9 Pro as the smaller 6.3-inch Pro phone, with the Pro camera system and 16GB of RAM. It suits buyers who want the premium camera and AI features without the larger Pro XL body. See Google’s Canadian Pixel 9 Pro product page for configuration details.

The Pro XL was the largest conventional Pixel phone and offered the broadest storage range. Its 128GB starting price was CA$400 above the standard Pixel 9, while the 1TB version reached CA$2,099.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold was the most expensive model, starting CA$1,300 above the Pixel 9. Its higher price reflects the foldable design and larger internal display, but it is a poor fit for buyers who simply want the best phone value. The 512GB model cost CA$170 more than the 256GB version.

Pixel Watch 3 price in Canada
The Pixel Watch 3 launched at CA$479. That is a starting price, not a universal price for every version.

The larger case and LTE connectivity can change the price, and LTE use may require a compatible carrier plan with a recurring monthly charge. Buyers should also check which band and colour are included with a specific listing.
Google said the Pixel Watch 3 could deliver up to 36 hours of battery life with Battery Saver and included six months of Fitbit Premium. There is also an important distinction between the historical launch price and later store pricing. The Canadian Google Store page displayed from CA$349.99 in August 2026, materially below the CA$479 launch price. Pixel Buds Pro 2 price in Canada
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 launched at CA$299 in Canada, with availability from September 26, 2024.

Google described the earbuds as using its Tensor A1 chip, offering twice the previous generation’s active noise cancellation, and providing up to 30 hours of listening time with the charging case. Those performance figures are Google’s claims, not independent test results. The earbuds also support Google ecosystem features including Gemini integration. At CA$299, they sit in the premium wireless-earbud category. They make the most sense for Pixel and Android users who value ANC, Google integration and automatic ecosystem features; shoppers focused mainly on price may prefer a less expensive pair. Google’s launch offers were promotional credits and bundled services rather than reductions to the advertised prices:
- Pixel 9: CA$150 in Google Store credit for qualifying purchases made by August 28, 2024.
- Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL: CA$275 in Google Store credit for qualifying purchases made by August 28, 2024.
- Pixel 9 Pro Fold: CA$475 in Google Store credit for qualifying purchases made by September 7, 2024, plus one year of Gemini Advanced, reported at launch as CA$26.99 per month.
These launch deadlines have expired. Even when active, store credit should not be subtracted from the phone’s price as though it were cash. Credit may be restricted to eligible Google Store purchases, may expire, and is less valuable to someone who does not plan to buy another Google product. A bundled Gemini service also should not be described as permanently free: after the included year, renewal terms and pricing apply unless the subscription is cancelled.
How much does a complete Pixel setup cost?
Using the Canadian launch prices, a basic phone, watch and earbud bundle cost the following before tax and accessories:

These totals exclude provincial sales tax, cases, chargers, replacement watch bands, LTE service, protection plans, shipping, financing costs and any trade-in credit. The final checkout total therefore varies by province and purchase method.
Which Pixel device is the best fit?
- Lowest entry price: Pixel 9. It was the cheapest phone and offered both 128GB and 256GB at the reported CA$1,099 launch price.
- Small Pro phone: Pixel 9 Pro. It paired Pro-level camera hardware with a smaller 6.3-inch form factor, but cost CA$250 more than the Pixel 9 before tax.
- Large conventional flagship: Pixel 9 Pro XL. It offered the biggest standard Pixel display and storage up to 1TB.
- Maximum screen flexibility: Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Its internal foldable display is the reason to pay the premium; it is not the sensible choice for a value-focused buyer.
- Best watch pairing: Pixel Watch 3 for Pixel owners who want Fitbit-based health and fitness features. Choose the size and connectivity tier carefully, and budget for LTE service if applicable.
- Best ecosystem add-on: Pixel Buds Pro 2 for buyers who specifically want premium ANC and Google integration rather than the cheapest earbuds.
What to check before paying
- Confirm that the price is in CAD, not US dollars.
- Check storage, case size, LTE connectivity, colour and included accessories.
- Compare the total financed amount—not only the monthly payment—when buying through a carrier.
- Read trade-in conditions, including the old device’s model, storage and condition requirements.
- Verify provincial tax, shipping and any activation or carrier-plan charges.
- Check current Google Store stock and promotion terms, since the 2024 launch offers are no longer current by default.
