Apple’s Nike watch faces are built into watchOS; you do not download a separate “Nike skin.” On a supported watch, add one from Apple Watch app → Face Gallery, or directly on the watch with the Add (+) button. Availability depends on your Apple Watch model and software, not simply whether the case or band carries Nike branding.
Which Nike faces are available?
Apple’s current watchOS 26 face catalog lists six Nike designs. Names and controls can change in later releases, so the current Apple face guide is the definitive reference.

A complication is a small information or shortcut area around the time display. Depending on the face and position, it can show items such as Workout, Activity, heart rate, battery, weather, Calendar, Music, timers, Messages or a supported app. Available choices vary by face and position. Nike Digital’s Nike Run Club shortcut is permanent, so it is not an ordinary slot that can be replaced like other complications.

Check compatibility before you start
- Apple’s watchOS 26 compatibility list starts with Apple Watch Series 6 and later, Apple Watch SE (2nd generation) and later, and Apple Watch Ultra and later.
- Installing watchOS 26 requires an iPhone 11 or later, or iPhone SE (3rd generation) or later, running iOS 26. See Apple’s watchOS compatibility requirements.
- Series 5 and earlier cannot run watchOS 26; older software may show a different or smaller face catalog. Apple’s model and iPhone compatibility table is useful for checking the hardware ceiling.
- Keep the watch paired, charged and connected normally to its iPhone. Nike branding on a case or band is not a software prerequisite.
- You need Nike Run Club only if you specifically want that app shortcut or its features. Apple does not describe every Nike face as dependent on the app.
There is no simple public model-by-model table guaranteeing every Nike face on every older watch. The Face Gallery shown for your paired watch is the final authority.

Add a Nike face from your iPhone
- Open the Apple Watch app on the paired iPhone.
- Tap Face Gallery.
- Scroll to the Nike listings (or browse the available face categories).
- Tap the Nike face you want.
- Choose the controls that face provides, such as Color, Style, Dial, Background and available complication positions.
- Check the preview, then tap Add to Watch.
Apple says a face added through Face Gallery becomes the current face. Labels or category placement can vary slightly between iOS and watchOS releases.
Add a Nike face directly on Apple Watch
- Display the current watch face.
- Touch and hold the display.
- Swipe left all the way to the end and tap the Add (+) button.
- Browse the available faces and select the Nike design.
- Tap Add, then set the available color, style, dial, background or complications if prompted.
This method is useful when the iPhone is unavailable. The controls shown depend on the selected face.

Choose the right Nike face
- For a traditional look: Nike Analog favors a familiar analog presentation, with less at-a-glance data than denser designs.
- For animation: Nike Bounce is playful and reactive, but its motion is decorative rather than a fitness measurement.
- For several shortcuts in a compact layout: Nike Compact supports up to three complications, although its density may be less instantly legible than Nike Digital.
- For runners wanting Nike Run Club nearby: Nike Digital provides a bold digital clock and its permanent Nike Run Club complication, at the cost of that slot’s flexibility.
- For distinctive styling and four data points: Nike Globe supports up to four complications.
- For the broadest Nike layout flexibility: Nike Hybrid combines analog and digital elements and supports up to five complications, with more choices to configure.
Make, switch and manage the active face
On iPhone, open Apple Watch app → My Watch and find the face under My Faces. On the watch, touch and hold the current face, swipe to the Nike face and tap it. You can also swipe between faces if Settings → Clock → Swipe to Switch Watch Face is enabled.

To remove a face on the watch, touch and hold it, swipe up and tap Remove. On iPhone, use Apple Watch app → My Watch → My Faces → Edit to remove faces or change their order. Removed faces can be added again.

Nike face missing? Follow this diagnostic order
- Identify the model. Series 5 and earlier cannot run watchOS 26, so the current collection may not be available.
- Check software. Install the newest watchOS and iOS versions supported by your hardware.
- Reconnect the normal setup. Confirm the watch is paired, nearby, unlocked as needed and connected; then reopen Face Gallery.
- Check My Faces. The face may already be installed but not selected as the current face.
- Restart both devices. This can resolve an incomplete gallery or synchronization state.
- Allow for the hardware limit. If the watch cannot update to software containing the face, no app reinstall can add it; newer hardware may be required.
If a face appears in Face Gallery but not on the watch, first verify that Add to Watch was tapped. Then allow synchronization to finish and check that the watch is not offline or short on storage. Menu wording may have changed after an update.
Nike face versus Nike Run Club
These are separate things. Apple’s watchOS supplies the Nike faces. Nike Run Club is an app that can provide the shortcut and running features; Apple specifically identifies its permanent complication on Nike Digital. Installing or reinstalling Nike Run Club is not a general fix for a missing Nike face. See Nike’s official app page at nike.com/nrc-app.

Can you download a custom Nike logo face?
Apple’s official Nike faces are the supported way to get native Nike layouts, animation and complications. Apple Watch does not generally install arbitrary third-party system faces like built-in faces. A photo face or third-party app may imitate Nike styling, but it will not necessarily provide the same native behavior. Avoid unofficial downloads or configuration profiles.

When an upgrade is the only practical answer
If your watch is below the supported software range, compare a compatible model through Apple’s Apple Watch page or official refurbished store. Buying a Nike-branded watch or band is not required to unlock the faces. Bands are cosmetic accessories; see Nike’s bands page or Apple’s bands page if matching the look matters.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a Nike Apple Watch to use a Nike face?
No special Nike case or band is identified as a prerequisite. Your paired watch’s supported watchOS version and Face Gallery determine availability.
Can I add more than one Nike face?
Yes. Add each design to My Faces, then select or swipe between them.
Do Nike faces change workout accuracy or running data?
No such performance change is established. A face changes the display and shortcuts, not the underlying sensor measurements.
