iQOO officially confirmed on July 3, 2024, that it would launch the iQOO WATCH GT, iQOO TWS 1i and iQOO Pad2 Pro 16GB+1TB at an event in China on July 11, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. Beijing time. The event took place as scheduled, but this was a China-market launch—not confirmation of a U.S. or global release.
What iQOO confirmed
The announcement covered three products rather than a simple teaser:
- iQOO WATCH GT: a square-screen smartwatch available in Bluetooth and eSIM variants.
- iQOO TWS 1i: an entry-level pair of in-ear wireless earbuds.
- iQOO Pad2 Pro 16GB+1TB: a new high-storage configuration of the Pad2 Pro tablet.
Chinese technology coverage reported that the launch event was held at Universal Beijing Resort. The July 3 announcement confirmed the event date; the products were formally presented on July 11. IT Home reported the original announcement, while its post-launch coverage confirmed the Pad2 Pro 1TB presentation.
iQOO WATCH GT: square design and two connectivity options
The WATCH GT was positioned as iQOO’s square smartwatch, with AI-related functions, Baidu Maps navigation, NFC and colorful strap choices. iQOO also promoted up to 21 days of battery life for the Bluetooth version under its stated test conditions. That figure should not be treated as universal: the eSIM model has different power demands and specifications.

According to iQOO’s official specifications, the watch has a 1.85-inch display, weighs 33 grams excluding the strap and measures 45.8 × 39.6 × 11.2mm. Listed launch prices were:

What importers should check
The eSIM version is not automatically suitable for every country. Cellular functions depend on carrier support, regional provisioning and the watch’s software ecosystem. Buyers outside China should also check phone compatibility, language support, maps, payment services, warranty coverage and after-sales support before importing.
iQOO TWS 1i: budget earbuds below 100 yuan
The TWS 1i was announced as an affordable in-ear model priced below 100 yuan, with gaming-oriented low-latency features and Monster Sound branding. Later Chinese product and subsidy-listing coverage identified an original price of 99 yuan and reported the following specifications:

The price and specifications above come from later Chinese listing coverage, rather than all being confirmed in the initial July 3 announcement.
IP54 is useful protection against limited dust and water splashes, but it does not make the earbuds waterproof or suitable for swimming. The battery figures are also maximum claims affected by volume, codec and usage conditions. Nothing in the supplied launch information establishes flagship-grade active noise cancellation, extensive multipoint support or guaranteed international software support.

iQOO Pad2 Pro 1TB: the new 16GB+1TB configuration
The tablet announcement added a 16GB RAM and 1TB storage version to the Pad2 Pro range. The existing platform included a 13-inch 3.1K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor, an 11,500mAh battery and 66W wired charging. Earlier configurations had offered up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The official Pad2 Pro page confirms the 16GB+1TB configuration. IT Home’s launch report described a limited arrival price of 4,499 yuan. That should be read as a reported launch promotion, not necessarily a permanent list price.

The extra storage is the main reason to consider this version. It may suit buyers who keep large games, video libraries or work files locally, but storage capacity alone does not mean better display, battery life or gaming performance than other Pad2 Pro configurations. The 512GB model may offer better value for users who do not need 1TB.
What the July 11 date did—and did not—mean
The precise timeline is:
- July 3, 2024: iQOO announced the July 11 event.
- July 11, 2024: the products were presented and launched in China.
- By 2026: all three are historical 2024 releases, not upcoming products.
For readers in the United States, 7:00 p.m. Beijing time on July 11, 2024 corresponded to 7:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time and 4:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time on the same day.
The announcement did not confirm a U.S., Indian or worldwide retail release, international pricing, global warranty coverage, carrier compatibility or simultaneous shipping outside China. Nor does a China launch guarantee Google Play access, international firmware, local payment services or full compatibility with regional networks.

Bottom line for watch buyers
The headline was accurate for China: iQOO officially scheduled the WATCH GT, TWS 1i and Pad2 Pro 16GB+1TB for July 11, 2024, and the launch event subsequently occurred. For international buyers, however, the important qualification is market availability. Check the seller, firmware and language support, return policy, warranty, charger, phone compatibility and—especially for the WATCH GT eSIM version—local carrier support before buying imported stock.
