On July 8, 2024, Nothing launched three products under its budget-focused CMF brand: the CMF Watch Pro 2 at $69 in the US, the CMF Phone 1 from $199, and the CMF Buds Pro 2 at $59. The phone was not the Nothing Phone (1); that is a separate 2022 smartphone. For watch buyers, the Watch Pro 2 is a low-cost Android fitness and notification watch with GPS, Bluetooth calling, a round AMOLED display, and interchangeable bezels—but it is not a Wear OS smartwatch.

The launch marked CMF’s move beyond accessories into smartphones, while the Watch Pro 2 and Buds Pro 2 extended the brand’s design-led approach to wearable and audio products. The reported launch date and US pricing were covered by 9to5Google.
CMF Watch Pro 2: what you get for $69
The Watch Pro 2 is built around a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a 466 × 466 resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and up to 620 nits of brightness. Its round design and interchangeable bezels give it a more conventional watch appearance than many inexpensive rectangular fitness trackers. The body uses aluminium alloy.
Its headline hardware feature is multi-system GPS, allowing outdoor activity tracking without relying entirely on the phone. CMF also lists 120 sports modes, activity and recovery metrics, and training-load information. These are consumer wellness estimates, not medical diagnostics, and their usefulness depends on sensor performance, software, and how consistently the watch is worn.

Calling, notifications, and everyday controls
A built-in speaker and microphone support Bluetooth calling. The watch can manage up to 30 contacts, while notifications, music controls, weather information, and other functions are handled through the paired phone and companion software. That makes it useful as an inexpensive extension of an Android phone rather than a standalone communications device.
The official CMF Watch Pro 2 product page also documents Google Health Connect compatibility on supported Android phones. Health Connect support was delivered through an over-the-air update, so launch-day functionality and later software additions should not be treated as identical.
Battery claims
CMF rates the Watch Pro 2 for up to 11 days of typical use, up to nine days under heavy use, and up to 25 hours of continuous GPS use. These are manufacturer estimates. GPS activity, Bluetooth calls, frequent health tracking, display settings, and notifications can reduce runtime substantially.

What the Watch Pro 2 does not provide
This is not a full Wear OS watch. Buyers should not expect the broad third-party app selection, payment support, or smartwatch ecosystem associated with a Samsung Galaxy Watch, Google Pixel Watch, or Apple Watch. It is also not a sensible choice for anyone seeking clinically validated health monitoring.

For an Android user who mainly wants GPS workouts, notifications, calling, and long battery life, the Watch Pro 2’s price is compelling. For an iPhone owner, an app-heavy smartwatch user, or someone who needs payments on the wrist, its limitations matter more than its low price.
CMF Phone 1: the $199 product was not “Nothing Phone (1)”
The smartphone launched as the CMF Phone 1. In the US, its starting price was $199 for the 8GB/128GB model, with higher-storage configurations costing more. The phone uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G processor and launched with Nothing OS 2.6 based on Android 14.
Its specifications include a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. A 5,000mAh battery supports 33W wired charging. The camera system includes a 50MP Sony rear sensor and a 16MP front camera.

It also supports microSD storage expansion, with the relevant regional official page advertising support up to 2TB. Confirm the exact configuration, warranty, NFC availability, network bands, and carrier compatibility for your country before buying.

CMF advertises up to 16GB of RAM, but that figure combines up to 8GB of physical RAM with up to 8GB of storage-backed RAM Booster. It should not be read as 16GB of physical memory. The phone is a midrange device, not a flagship: its strengths are the screen, battery, storage flexibility, and price, while camera quality, gaming performance, charging features, and water resistance should be judged accordingly. CMF Buds Pro 2: $59 at launch
The CMF Buds Pro 2 launched in the US at $59, not $69. They use an 11mm bass driver and 6mm tweeter, with up to 50dB of hybrid active noise cancellation, six high-definition microphones, LDAC support, Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification, dual connection, and spatial-audio effects.
The advertised 50dB figure is a manufacturer specification, not a promise that every surrounding sound will be reduced by 50dB. Fit, ear shape, ear-tip seal, sound frequency, and the environment all affect perceived noise reduction.

CMF rates the earbuds for up to 10 hours of music playback and up to 43 hours with the case. LDAC, ANC, calls, and other settings can change actual endurance. The earbuds carry an IP55 rating; do not assume the charging case has the same protection. ChatGPT activation is available with compatible Nothing and CMF phones and supporting software. How the three products work together
The ecosystem is best understood as a set of compatible products, not a closed platform equivalent to Apple’s. The Buds Pro 2 are managed through the Nothing X app. The watch can handle phone-linked notifications, calls, music controls, weather, and selected camera-related functions with compatible Nothing or CMF phones. Buds Pro 2 ChatGPT controls likewise require a compatible Nothing or CMF handset.
Android users may also benefit from supported Google Health Connect syncing. However, the exact experience depends on the phone, Android version, app version, and regional software. The products can be evaluated separately: owning a CMF phone is not required for every basic watch or earbud function, although Nothing and CMF phones may offer the deepest integrations.

As a later US retail signal, Nothing’s store showed the Buds Pro 2 at $49 against a displayed $69 reference price in August 2026. That sale price must not be retroactively described as the launch MSRP. Current stock and pricing can change; check the official US store listing before purchase. The Nothing product page continues to identify the CMF products, but product listing does not guarantee inventory in every market.
Should you buy the complete CMF lineup?
Buy the Watch Pro 2 if you want inexpensive GPS fitness tracking, notifications, Bluetooth calling, a round AMOLED screen, and long estimated battery life. Choose something else if you need Wear OS apps, payments, deep iPhone integration, or medically validated monitoring.
Buy the Phone 1 if your priorities are a low price, a 120Hz AMOLED display, a large battery, expandable storage, and distinctive design. It is a weaker fit for flagship cameras, wireless charging, premium water resistance, top-tier gaming, or guaranteed carrier support in every region.

Buy the Buds Pro 2 if you want budget ANC, dual-driver audio, physical case controls, and Android-oriented features. Treat the ANC, microphone, and battery figures as specifications rather than guaranteed real-world results, and remember that the best controls require the Nothing X app.
Do not buy all three solely because they share the CMF name. The ecosystem adds convenience, particularly for Nothing and CMF phone owners, but it is not strong enough to override a poor category-level fit. Compare the watch on app support and health features, the phone on software and camera needs, and the earbuds on sound, fit, ANC, and call quality.
