Rokid’s Max 2 is currently listed at $399 on the company’s global store, with shipping calculated at checkout. That is a substantial reduction from the $529 price cited in older deal coverage, but it should not be called an all-time low: Rokid later advertised the glasses for $249 on Amazon US during its June 23–30, 2026 Prime Day promotion. Check the live retailer price, shipping and taxes before buying.
Is the $399 deal live?
At the time of checking, Rokid’s official global product page lists the standalone Rokid Max 2 at $399. The page calculates shipping at checkout, and the final amount can vary with destination, tax, customs and currency. Orders outside the US and EU may ship from China, so buyers in other markets should allow for possible import charges.
This is an observed official-store price, not proof that Amazon US or every regional store has the same offer. No coupon is needed on the displayed listing, but stock, color availability and marketplace pricing can change. Compare the official page with Amazon before paying.

Why “all-time low” is no longer accurate
Older deal coverage described $399 as the lowest-ever price against a $529 reference price. That wording is now too broad. In a June 2026 announcement, Rokid said Max 2 would reach $249 on Amazon US for Prime Day. The same announcement mentioned a separate $299 Amazon figure and a $309 official-store price, so the promotion’s retailer, timing and inventory conditions matter.

The useful distinction is between an official-store price, an Amazon sale price, a coupon-adjusted price and a bundle’s effective value. $399 may be attractive today, but it is not the lowest documented 2026 price and should not be presented as a universal price floor.
What you get for $399
Max 2 is a display accessory, not a self-contained computer. It shows video from a compatible phone, laptop, tablet, handheld or console. The standalone glasses should not be confused with Rokid Station 2, AR Spatial or AR Joy bundles. Those packages can add a host device, wireless casting or spatial features.

Rokid lists Station 2 separately at $239, the Rokid Hub at $79 and Max lens inserts at $15 in its current product collection. A cable, HDMI adapter, hub, prescription service or Station 2 is not automatically included with the $399 glasses listing. Verify the exact “in the box” section for the retailer and variant you select.

These figures come from Rokid’s detailed specifications page. Other Rokid pages describe a 1,920 × 1,200 “1200p” panel, and marketing pages use 215-, 300- and 360-inch virtual-screen comparisons. Treat those as page-specific claims: perceived screen size depends on viewing distance and the manufacturer’s method, not a literal 300-inch panel.

Likewise, 120Hz is a ceiling. Rokid says the rate can be adjusted between 60Hz and 120Hz, while Station 2 operation is described separately at 90Hz. Your source device, adapter, software and content determine what you actually receive.
Compatibility: check this before ordering
- Look for DisplayPort over USB-C. A USB-C socket alone is not enough. Phones and computers must support video output through that port for a straightforward wired connection.
- Plan an adapter for other outputs. HDMI devices such as some consoles may need an HDMI-to-USB-C adapter. Check whether the adapter handles power, audio and HDCP; features vary.
- Decide whether you need wireless operation. Devices without direct DisplayPort output may require a Station 2 or another supported wireless setup. Rokid’s setup guide separates direct USB-C, wireless and Station-based configurations.
- Check your exact phone model. Rokid says DisplayPort-capable phones can connect directly, while others may need wireless hardware. Connector shape does not guarantee compatibility, including on iPhone.
- Confirm your prescription. The built-in adjustment is for myopia from 0.00D to -6.00D. Farsightedness, astigmatism or prescriptions outside that range may require custom inserts. Rokid says existing Max 1 inserts fit Max 2 in a support article, but confirm with the optical provider and check pupillary distance.
Where Max 2 makes sense
The glasses are most compelling when you want a private, large image without carrying a monitor. They can make films or sports more comfortable on a flight or in a hotel, provide a personal screen for a Steam Deck or laptop, and keep a game or video visible in a shared room. A 50-degree field of view is broad for display glasses, but it does not block out the physical environment or turn the glasses into full mixed-reality computing.

The trade-off is dependence on the host device. You still need a compatible phone, computer, handheld, console or adapter, and a cable may run from the glasses to that device. Weight is 75g, but that specification alone cannot guarantee comfort: nose pressure, temple fit, focus, cable routing and edge clarity vary by wearer.

- Buy if you already own a DisplayPort-over-USB-C laptop, phone or handheld and want a private travel or gaming screen.
- Buy if the $399 official-store price is acceptable even if a future promotion is lower.
- Wait if you are buying only because of the “all-time low” label, need wireless use without a host device, or want standalone apps and spatial computing.
- Wait if your prescription needs astigmatism or farsighted correction, or if you cannot test the fit and are sensitive to long-session comfort.
Verdict
Rokid Max 2 at $399 is a reasonable display-glasses purchase for a buyer with a compatible source device and a clear use for a private big screen. It is not, however, the lowest price documented in 2026: Rokid’s own Prime Day announcement put an Amazon US promotion at $249. Treat $399 as the current observed official-store price, compare Amazon and checkout costs, and buy only after confirming video output, accessories and prescription needs.
