The Rollme R3 was a genuine smart-ring launch from July 2024, but its headline $89.99 price was a promotional offer—not a confirmed current price. The ring was advertised with heart-rate, blood-oxygen, sleep and activity tracking, six sizes (US 7–12), and up to 10 days of battery life. As of August 18, 2026, the R3 was not visibly listed in Rollme’s current smart-ring collection, so its stock, support and present-day price remain unclear.
What launched in 2024?
Rollme introduced the R3 smart ring in July 2024 and promoted it at $89.99. Contemporary reports described the regular price differently: Gadgets360 reported $179.99, while FoneArena reported $169.99. Those figures should be treated as historical launch reporting rather than a confirmed current price.

What health features were advertised?
- Continuous or real-time heart-rate monitoring
- Blood-oxygen monitoring
- Sleep tracking and sleep-movement monitoring
- Sleep analysis and general wellness insights
The reported hardware included a PPG sensor and low-power infrared LEDs. Photoplethysmography estimates physiological signals by observing changes in light absorption beneath the skin. Fit, movement, temperature and skin contact can all affect optical readings.
That does not make the R3 a medical device. The available launch reports do not provide an independent accuracy study, clinical validation or regulatory clearance for the ring. Its heart-rate, blood-oxygen and sleep functions should therefore be understood as consumer wellness features, not tools for diagnosing arrhythmia, sleep disorders, hypoxemia or other medical conditions.
Design, water resistance and battery
Rollme reportedly used a titanium-alloy outer shell made with CNC processing, plus a hypoallergenic epoxy-resin inner structure. The company also claimed 5ATM water resistance and described the ring as resistant to water pressure equivalent to up to 300 metres.

That should not be read as unrestricted diving protection. Water-resistance ratings are based on controlled pressure testing and do not guarantee safety in every shower, pool, hot tub, high-impact water activity or dive scenario.
Battery life was advertised at up to 10 days. “Up to” is a maximum claim, not an independently tested typical result. Measurement frequency, phone connectivity, temperature, battery age and software behaviour can reduce actual runtime.
Six sizes: useful, but limited
The R3’s US 7–12 range covers many users, but it is narrower than the sizing offered by some current competitors. Smart-ring sizes are also not universal: a size 9 from one brand may not fit like a size 9 from another.
A proper fit matters more than it does with a conventional ring because the optical sensors need consistent skin contact. The ring should feel secure without becoming painful, and buyers should remember that fingers can swell during heat, exercise and sleep.
Before buying old stock or a third-party listing, verify whether a sizing kit, exchanges and returns are available. The current R3 policies could not be confirmed.

Availability is unclear. Rollme’s current indexed smart-ring collection shows newer products such as the Vibe, R11 ECG, HR05 and R1 Pro, but does not visibly list the R3.
That means the 2024 launch is established, but current stock, shipping, warranty coverage and the $89.99 price are not. Do not assume a marketplace listing is supported simply because it uses the R3 name. Old inventory may come with unclear returns, limited firmware support or an app that no longer works with current phones.
What remains unverified?
The launch reports do not clearly establish:
- Supported Android or iOS versions
- The current companion-app name and requirements
- Apple Health, Google Fit or Health Connect integration
- Bluetooth details or whether cloud connectivity is required
- Data export and privacy policies
- Warranty, returns and software-update support
- Independent measurement accuracy
Do not infer phone compatibility or platform integration from the fact that the R3 was marketed as a smart ring. A live seller should document those details before purchase.
Better-supported alternatives
RingConn
RingConn Gen 3 is the strongest current budget-oriented comparison for buyers who want an established product and subscription-free positioning. Its official pages also provide sizing-kit and trade-in flows. It costs substantially more than the R3’s historical launch promotion.
Samsung Galaxy Ring
The Samsung Galaxy Ring makes the most sense for people already invested in Samsung Galaxy phones and Samsung Health. Its ecosystem integration is a stronger proposition than the R3’s undocumented platform support, but it is less attractive for iPhone users and costs more.
Oura Ring
Oura remains a premium choice for mature sleep and wellness software. Its membership model materially increases the ownership cost, so it is not the natural choice for someone whose main requirement is the lowest possible price.
Ultrahuman Ring
Ultrahuman Ring is a subscription-free premium alternative aimed at users who want more extensive wellness analytics. It is considerably more expensive than the R3, and regional availability should be checked before ordering.

Who should consider the R3?
The R3 is worth considering only if a seller can provide all of the following:
- A live checkout page showing the exact model and current price
- Confirmed phone and app compatibility
- A clear sizing-exchange and return policy
- Warranty and support details
- Evidence that the app and firmware are still maintained
If any of those points is missing, a current RingConn, Samsung Galaxy Ring, Oura or Ultrahuman model is the safer purchase—even when its upfront price is higher.
