The percentage is straightforward: $30 divided by $149.99 is approximately 20%. The $149.99 figure is Samsung’s announced U.S. starting price and the comparable value shown in Best Buy’s indexed deal information—not proof that the earbuds always sell at that price.
Because retailer search results can be cached, do not assume the promotion is still active merely because a snippet shows it. Confirm that the selected product is new, sold by Best Buy, and still priced at $119.99 before tax. What the Galaxy Buds3 FE are
Samsung launched the Galaxy Buds3 FE in the U.S. on September 4, 2025, at $149.99. They are Samsung’s more affordable Galaxy Buds model, positioned below its premium earbuds while retaining features such as active noise cancellation, Ambient Sound, and Galaxy-device integration.
The earbuds use Samsung’s blade-style design, an 11mm speaker, and three microphones per earbud. Each earbud weighs 5 grams; the charging case weighs 41.8 grams. Samsung lists two colors for the U.S. model: black and gray.
Battery estimates are condition-dependent. Samsung rates the earbuds for up to six hours with ANC enabled, up to 8.5 hours with ANC disabled, and up to 30 hours total with the case and ANC off. Actual endurance varies with volume, connectivity, calls, features, and other usage.

Samsung’s official announcement and product page provide the specifications. Those figures should not be read as a guarantee of ANC strength, call quality, fit, or sound quality; those are performance characteristics that specifications alone cannot establish.
What “AI-powered” means here
The Buds3 FE are not standalone AI computers. Their AI-related features primarily provide access to Samsung and Google services through a compatible Galaxy phone or other supported device.

Some functions require a compatible Galaxy smartphone or tablet, an Android device with the Galaxy Wearable app, a Samsung account, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity, and—in the case of Gemini-related features—a Google Gemini account. Samsung says basic Galaxy AI features are free, but third-party services, account requirements, connectivity, and future policies can differ. Gemini responses can also be inaccurate and should be checked.
In practical terms, the AI label matters most to Galaxy-phone owners already using Samsung’s software ecosystem. It is a much weaker reason to buy the earbuds if you primarily use an iPhone or expect the earbuds themselves to provide a complete assistant experience.
What is included
Samsung’s indexed buying information lists the earbuds, charging case, and two ear-tip options. It does not indicate that a wall charger is included. Check the live box-contents list if included accessories are important to you.

Who should skip them?
- iPhone users seeking the full feature set: Basic Bluetooth audio may work, but do not expect iOS to provide complete Galaxy app and AI feature parity.
- People seeking flagship ANC or audiophile sound: Samsung’s specifications do not establish premium-level noise cancellation, tuning, or call quality.
- Users needing robust water protection: Do not call the earbuds waterproof or use them for swimming, showering, or beach activities without checking Samsung’s current rating and limitations. The charging case may have different protection, or none.
- Platform-neutral buyers: Sony, Bose, Beats, JBL, and JLab may be better comparison categories when cross-platform controls and app support matter more than Galaxy integration.

Verdict
At a genuinely available $119.99, the Galaxy Buds3 FE are a reasonable buy for a Galaxy-phone owner who wants ANC, Samsung integration, and access to device-dependent AI features without paying the premium-earbud price. The 20% calculation is valid against the $149.99 reference price.
The deal should be treated as potentially verified at Best Buy, not guaranteed live. Confirm condition, seller, color, location, and final checkout price before purchasing. The AI features are an ecosystem bonus—not a reason to expect autonomous AI from the earbuds themselves.
