Yes—the Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro really did hit $159.99 at Best Buy on November 26, 2025. That was a historical Black Friday offer, not a price to assume is still available. Samsung’s competing deal was $169.99 with a carabiner case and Samsung Rewards points. The Buds3 Pro were an especially appealing buy at that price for Galaxy phone owners; today, check the live price and compare it with Samsung’s newer Buds4 Pro before deciding.

What the $159 deal included
On Black Friday 2025, Best Buy listed the Galaxy Buds3 Pro for $159.99, against a stated regular price of $249.99—about $90 off. Samsung’s store had a competing offer at $169.99 that included a carabiner case and Samsung Rewards points. The original deal report does not establish that both colors were available at the same price, or document every stock, warranty, return or eligibility condition. Check the selected color, seller, condition and checkout terms rather than assuming every listing matches the original offer. The original deal report has the dated price details.

Why these became my favorite earbuds
“My favorite earbuds ever” is my personal verdict, not a lab ranking. The Buds3 Pro combine a stemmed redesign with a two-way speaker system and dual amplifiers. In my listening, they deliver rich, detailed sound with satisfying bass while keeping the middle of the mix clear. That balance is what makes them enjoyable across more than just bass-heavy playlists; it does not mean they will sound better than every competitor to every listener. Samsung describes the hardware and adaptive audio features on its product page.
The stems also put playback and volume controls within easy reach, and I find the fit comfortable for both workouts and long work sessions. Those are personal fit impressions, not a promise: ear shape and tip size matter, and a stemmed in-ear design may feel unstable or uncomfortable for some people. If you have struggled with in-ear buds before, buy from a retailer whose return policy you have checked.

Active noise cancellation, adaptive sound features and Blade Lights round out the package. The lights are a distinctive visual flourish rather than a reason on their own to buy. The practical advantage is how the buds connect with compatible Galaxy devices—particularly when you want to adjust settings or use Samsung-specific conveniences. The exact feature set depends on the phone, software and app; “Galaxy AI” is not a universal capability that follows the earbuds to every Bluetooth device.
What works beyond a Samsung phone?
The Buds3 Pro can play audio over Bluetooth with non-Samsung devices, but they make the strongest case when paired with a compatible Samsung Galaxy phone. Best Buy says initial setup uses the Samsung Wear app on a compatible device and notes that some advanced features work best with Galaxy phones. Check app and phone compatibility before purchase if you use another Android brand. On a PC or other Bluetooth source, expect a more standard earbud experience rather than full Samsung ecosystem integration.

Features such as device switching, adaptive controls and translation depend on supported Galaxy hardware and software. Do not assume that translation works in every language or setup, or that every feature behaves the same way on iPhone, Windows and generic Android. For an iPhone owner who wants the most integrated experience, AirPods Pro are the more natural ecosystem choice; Pixel-first users may prefer to compare Google’s Pixel Buds Pro. Buyers prioritizing a premium cross-platform alternative can also look at Sony’s WF-1000XM6. Samsung rates the earbuds for up to six hours of listening with ANC on, or up to 26 hours total with the charging case and ANC on. Samsung also cites up to 30 hours total under other conditions. These are manufacturer maximums, not a promise of the same runtime in daily use: volume, calls, codecs, adaptive features and battery age can all affect results. Who should still consider the Buds3 Pro?
- Galaxy phone owners: Best fit if you will use the Samsung app and ecosystem features, and you like the stem style. Around $159.99, they were a strong premium-earbud value.
- Other Android users: They remain usable as Bluetooth earbuds, but verify setup and app compatibility and decide whether you would actually miss Samsung-specific features.
- iPhone users: Think twice. Basic Bluetooth playback is not the same as a fully integrated experience, and the Buds3 Pro’s strongest differentiator is Samsung integration.
- Fit-sensitive shoppers: Try them with the included tips if possible, or confirm the return policy. Comfort and stability are individual.
- Budget-focused shoppers: If you only need wireless music and noise cancellation, a less expensive pair may cover the basics without charging you for ecosystem features you will not use.
How to judge a current listing
The Galaxy Buds3 Pro launched in 2024 and are no longer Samsung’s newest premium earbuds: Samsung’s U.S. store now also presents the Galaxy Buds4 Pro. Compare the live price gap before buying the older generation. If the Buds4 Pro cost only a little more, newer hardware may be worth considering; if the Buds3 Pro are substantially discounted, their sound, ANC and Galaxy integration can still make a persuasive package.

Before paying, confirm that the listing is for new U.S.-market stock, whether Best Buy or another authorized retailer is the seller, and which color the price applies to. Marketplace, open-box, refurbished and international listings can differ in warranty coverage or returns. Check the included charging case and ear tips, the return window, and any membership, coupon or trade-in requirement. Samsung’s direct store currently lists the Buds3 Pro at $249.99 and offers Samsung Care+ for $29 for two years; whether that coverage makes sense depends on the purchase price and your risk tolerance.
My take: At $159.99, I’d recommend the Buds3 Pro to a Galaxy owner who likes their fit and wants premium sound, ANC and Samsung conveniences. I would not treat that past sale as a live offer, call them universally the best earbuds, or pay full price without comparing the newer Buds4 Pro and other options. The deciding question is whether the Galaxy features—and the fit—are worth paying for in your setup.
