The advertised $141 saving was a December 2024 promotion, not a currently verified deal. Chrome Unboxed reported that Samsung’s U.S. store offered the Galaxy Buds3 Pro for $138.98 after a $50 earbuds trade-in. Samsung’s U.S. listing currently shows $249.99, so check the live checkout rather than assuming the old offer is still available.

The historical figures come from Chrome Unboxed’s December 2024 deal report. Samsung’s current U.S. purchase page lists the Buds3 Pro at $249.99. These are different points in time, not two prices available under the same offer.
What did “save $141” mean?
The original report said a $50 trade-in for an old pair of earbuds helped bring the price to $138.98. It did not provide a complete line-by-line calculation showing how much came from a standard sale discount, how the trade-in was applied, or whether tax, shipping, or other checkout adjustments were included. So treat $141 as the promotion’s reported saving, not as a discount independently reconstructed from documented prices.

If Samsung shows a trade-in offer at checkout, confirm what condition is accepted, whether a case or both earbuds are required, when credit is applied, and what happens if the returned item is rejected or valued differently. Do not count a trade-in toward your savings until the checkout displays the credit and you are comfortable with its terms.

Is the offer still available?
There is no current confirmation in the available information that the $141 promotion or the $50 trade-in is still running. Before ordering, compare the final item price in the cart—not just the headline saving. Check whether the offer depends on a Samsung account, a particular color or SKU, trade-in selection, a coupon, or another eligibility condition. Also confirm how taxes are calculated and review the return terms. Samsung’s product page has advertised a 100-day risk-free trial, but check the current terms and exclusions for your purchase before relying on that policy.
What you get with the Buds3 Pro
The Galaxy Buds3 Pro are Samsung’s 2024 premium earbuds, now a previous-generation model. Their feature set includes active noise cancellation, adaptive noise control and ambient sound, plus Voice Detect and Siren Detect. Samsung lists six microphones and an enhanced two-way speaker system, as well as 360 Audio and Adaptive EQ.

Samsung also promotes its Seamless Codec and SSC-UHQ support, LE Audio, and automatic switching between compatible devices. Features such as Galaxy AI-related audio functions and Live Translate depend on compatible Galaxy devices and can vary with the phone or tablet, software, region, and account configuration. Basic Bluetooth pairing with an Android device is not the same as access to every Samsung-specific feature. Check Samsung’s product information against the devices and features you actually plan to use.
Samsung’s battery figures are estimates: up to six hours of music playback per charge with ANC on, or up to seven hours with ANC off. With the case, Samsung estimates up to 26 hours with ANC on and up to 30 hours with it off. Volume, calls, codec, ANC, and other feature use affect actual runtime.
The earbuds are rated IP57, and each weighs 5.4 grams. IP57 is a dust- and water-resistance rating under specified test conditions; it does not mean the earbuds are waterproof or suitable for swimming. Do not assume the charging case has the same rating. Controls use swipe and pinch gestures, which may take a little practice if you are used to taps.

Who should buy them—and who should skip
They make the most sense for Samsung Galaxy owners who will use features such as Auto Switch, 360 Audio, Samsung’s codec options, or compatible Galaxy AI functions. They are also worth considering for Android users who want the core Bluetooth audio features, provided they check which advanced functions work with their specific phone.
At or near the historical $138.98 price, the Buds3 Pro are a more compelling buy if you want Samsung’s ecosystem features and are satisfied with a previous-generation model. A substantially discounted price without a complicated trade-in can also be reasonable, depending on your priorities.
Be cautious at $249.99. At Samsung’s current listed price, compare the Buds3 Pro with the newer Galaxy Buds4 Pro before buying. The available information does not establish a current Buds4 Pro price, so check Samsung’s live listing rather than assuming what the upgrade costs. Paying near the Buds3 Pro’s full listed price is harder to justify if your priority is getting Samsung’s newest Pro generation.

iPhone users should not buy these expecting the same software experience as AirPods: basic Bluetooth audio may work, but Samsung-specific customization and ecosystem features may be limited or unavailable. Fit is personal, too. If you are sensitive to in-ear shapes or need a secure fit for exercise, prioritize a seller with clear return terms and try them before committing. The original deal report was not a hands-on test, so it does not establish universal comfort, sound quality, or noise-cancellation performance.
How to judge a new offer
- Near $138.98: A strong price reference for Samsung shoppers, based on the historical deal—not a promise that the offer will return.
- Well below $249.99 without a trade-in: Potentially worthwhile if the return policy and warranty support suit you.
- Near or above $249.99: Compare the current Buds4 Pro offer before choosing an older generation, unless you specifically prefer the Buds3 Pro or receive a meaningful bundle benefit.
If you use a trade-in, read the live terms first, photograph the item’s condition, keep shipment and tracking records, and verify whether the quoted credit is guaranteed or subject to inspection. The final cart total is the meaningful comparison—not the advertised discount alone.
