These were historical U.S. deals published by 9to5Toys on October 21, 2025—not live August 2026 offers. The standout was a heavily discounted, top-spec 11-inch M4 iPad Pro, while the Apple Watch Series 10 offers were most compelling for shoppers who specifically wanted titanium cases and premium bands. The Apple Pencil Pro was also attractive at $89.99, although it was sold as New-Open Box through Woot.
Check current inventory and pricing at Apple, Amazon, Best Buy, or Woot before treating any of these figures as available deals.
The M4 iPad Pro was the headline deal
The most significant offer was an 11-inch M4 iPad Pro with 2TB of storage, cellular connectivity, and nano-texture glass for $1,854.76. The stated list price was $2,299, producing an advertised saving of $444—approximately 19.3%.
9to5Toys described this as an unusually deep discount on the highest-end 11-inch M4 configuration. In the October 2025 comparison, it was also nearly $450 below a comparable M5 configuration. That was a time-specific comparison and should not be used as a current-generation buying recommendation in 2026.

Who should have considered it?
This was a compelling discount only if the buyer genuinely wanted the configuration. Two terabytes makes sense for large creative libraries, video projects, extensive offline storage, or professional workflows. Cellular connectivity can be useful for working away from Wi-Fi, but the iPad itself does not include a mobile-data plan; carrier activation and recurring service charges are separate. Nano-texture glass is most useful in glare-sensitive environments, such as bright studios or offices.
For browsing, streaming, schoolwork, note-taking, and ordinary productivity, the deal was difficult to justify. A lower-storage Wi-Fi iPad Pro—or a discounted iPad Air—could deliver most of the everyday experience at a much lower cost. Buyers also needed to check whether the Amazon listing was sold and fulfilled by Amazon or by a marketplace seller, whether the unit was new rather than renewed or refurbished, the applicable return policy, and when the warranty began. The quoted price may also have excluded sales tax.
Verdict: an unusually large discount on an unusually expensive configuration, not the best iPad deal for everyone.

The roundup featured several titanium Apple Watch Series 10 GPS + Cellular models. Titanium and premium Milanese Loop bands account for much of the reference-price difference, so these should not be compared directly with an aluminum GPS watch.

The largest advertised saving was $197 on the 46mm Gold Titanium model with Milanese Loop. The lowest listed price was $559 for the 46mm Slate Titanium watch without that band.
When Series 10 made more sense than a newer base model
Series 10 was worth considering for buyers who specifically valued a titanium case, a premium bundled band, and a lower upfront price. Someone comparing only the watch body, however, could overstate the value of the discount: an aluminum GPS model with a sport band has a different reference price and may be all that a fitness or notification-focused buyer needs.
GPS + Cellular also does not mean cellular service is included. The buyer may need an eligible carrier plan and may incur a recurring monthly charge. A newer Apple Watch can be the better choice for shoppers prioritizing the longest expected ownership horizon, newer health capabilities, battery behavior, or future software features. The roundup’s positive comments about the Milanese Loop were editorial opinion, not independent testing.
The same article mentioned early Series 11 prices ranging from $389 to $520, but those were launch-period references and not necessarily comparable titanium, cellular, size, or band configurations.

Verdict: the best wearable discount for shoppers who wanted premium titanium hardware; less attractive for buyers who simply wanted an affordable Apple Watch.
Apple Pencil Pro for $89.99
Woot listed the Apple Pencil Pro at $89.99, compared with the $129 Apple list price cited in the roundup—about 30% off. The important caveat was the condition: New-Open Box, not factory-sealed standard retail stock.
The article stated that Prime members received free shipping, while non-Prime buyers faced a $6 delivery fee. It also said the listing carried the same Apple warranty as a new unit, but warranty coverage should be confirmed on the specific product page and through Apple’s coverage lookup before purchase.

Check compatibility before ordering
Apple Pencil Pro is not compatible with every iPad. The October 2025 roundup listed compatibility with the 11-inch and 13-inch M4 iPad Pro, the 11-inch and 13-inch M5 iPad Pro, the M2 and M3 iPad Air, and the iPad mini with A17 Pro. Because Apple’s product lineup changed after that article, verify the exact iPad model against Apple’s current Apple Pencil Pro page before buying.

The Pencil Pro was a good fit for drawing, markup, gesture controls, and other advanced stylus workflows. For basic notes, a cheaper Apple Pencil USB-C model or another compatible stylus may be sufficient. Open-box stock can be perfectly usable, but packaging, accessories, and fulfillment may differ from a sealed retail product, making the offer less suitable as a gift.
Verdict: a strong accessory discount if the iPad is compatible and open-box packaging is acceptable.

The roundup also reported a $280 discount on a 512GB M3 iPad Air, describing it as a new all-time low. However, the accessible article text did not expose the final sale price, so it would be misleading to reconstruct one.
Anyone evaluating that historical offer needed to confirm the exact screen size—11-inch or 13-inch—along with Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity, color, seller, condition, and whether the promotion applied to new, renewed, or refurbished inventory. The full price should come from the retailer listing or an archived version of the deal page.

The M3 iPad Air was aimed at buyers who wanted substantial storage without paying iPad Pro prices. It was less suitable for shoppers who needed ProMotion, the Pro display features, or the highest sustained performance. In 2026, the comparison also needs to include newer M4 iPad Air pricing and the value of a newer generation’s expected support and resale runway. See Apple’s current iPad Air page for the model lineup rather than assuming the 2025 discount remains available.
Verdict: potentially the best value tablet in the roundup, but only after confirming the exact model and comparing it with current-generation pricing.
What the prices did—and did not—prove
- Dollar savings were based on list prices: a stated saving does not necessarily equal the difference from the lowest recent street price.
- Configuration mattered: storage, display glass, case material, band, screen size, and cellular hardware materially changed both price and usefulness.
- Retailer terms mattered: Amazon seller status, Woot’s open-box condition, shipping eligibility, returns, tax, and warranty timing could change the real value.
- Generation mattered: a discounted older premium model can lose resale value faster than a newer, simpler configuration.
