The $134 Galaxy Watch Ultra price was real only as a conditional Cyber Monday 2024 offer. The reported $134.29 price applied after an eligible trade-in; the same deal was listed at $434.29 without a trade-in. It should not be treated as the watch’s ordinary current price.
Samsung’s U.S. store currently lists the 47mm LTE Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) at $649.99 before trade-in, with separate promotions that can provide trade-in or other credits. Verify the exact model, seller, trade-in value and final checkout total before buying.
The $134 price was a trade-in price, not a $134 watch
A contemporaneous Cyber Monday deal report listed the 47mm Galaxy Watch Ultra at $134.29 with trade-in, compared with $434.29 without trade-in and a $649.99 list price. The report’s figures show why the headline can be misleading: the lowest advertised price included the value of a qualifying device surrendered by the buyer.

Measured against $649.99, $134.29 is approximately 79% lower. But that is not a 79% unconditional markdown. Part of the reduction came from the trade-in device, and the final credit depended on that device meeting Samsung’s eligibility and condition requirements. Is the $134 deal still live?
There is no supplied evidence of a currently verifiable standalone $134 price on Samsung’s U.S. store. The $134.29 figure is tied to historical Cyber Monday coverage, so shoppers should assume it has expired unless a live checkout page confirms otherwise.
Samsung’s current U.S. product page lists the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025), 47mm LTE at $649.99. Samsung’s promotional pages have also advertised up to $250 in instant trade-in credit and, in some campaigns, credits that do not require a trade-in. Those offers can change by date, device, color, inventory and buyer eligibility; they do not establish a permanent $134 price. Check Samsung’s current watch offers and terms before ordering.
Do not confuse the 2024 and 2025 Galaxy Watch Ultra
The Cyber Monday claim appears to concern the original 2024 product cycle, while Samsung currently markets a 2025 Galaxy Watch Ultra. Retailer listings may simply say “Galaxy Watch Ultra,” making the model year easy to miss.
- Model year: Confirm whether the listing is for the original 2024 Ultra or the 2025 Ultra.
- Connectivity: Check whether it is LTE or Bluetooth/Wi-Fi. LTE models can require a compatible carrier plan and recurring monthly fees.
- Condition: “New,” “open-box,” “refurbished” and marketplace inventory are different purchases with potentially different warranties, accessories and return terms.
- Configuration: Verify the 47mm size, storage, color and exact model number rather than relying on the product title.
Samsung’s current buying page identifies the 2025 model as a 47mm LTE watch and shows Titanium Blue, Titanium Gray, Titanium Silver and Titanium White color options. A lower price on a retailer page may refer to a different generation, condition or seller.

How to calculate the real price before ordering
- Select the exact watch model, connectivity version and color.
- Choose the trade-in device and record Samsung’s estimated credit.
- Read the condition requirements. The old device may need to power on, charge, be unlocked or unpaired, and meet other eligibility conditions.
- Check whether the credit is applied instantly at checkout or depends on a later inspection.
- Review taxes, shipping, financing charges, activation costs and any carrier requirements.
- Save a screenshot of the final checkout page showing the watch price, trade-in credit and total due.
Samsung’s terms make clear that the final credit can change if the submitted device does not match the declared condition or eligibility. If Samsung downgrades or rejects it, the effective cost of the watch can rise substantially. Sales-tax treatment can also vary: promotional credits do not necessarily mean tax is calculated on the reduced amount.
What the Galaxy Watch Ultra offers
Samsung promotes the Ultra with a titanium case design, 10 ATM water resistance, IP68 protection, Samsung Health features and Galaxy AI health insights. Samsung also describes it as having the longest-lasting Galaxy Watch battery claim in its product materials. These are manufacturer specifications and claims, not independent test results. Read Samsung’s official Ultra information for the applicable model and regional details.
“10 ATM” and “IP68” should not be read as a promise that every type of swimming, diving or water exposure is risk-free. Follow Samsung’s usage guidance, particularly for salt water, high-pressure water and activities involving impact.

Compatibility and LTE costs matter
The Galaxy Watch Ultra is intended for Android users. iPhone owners should not assume compatibility. Samsung’s current wearable announcement specifies Android 13.0 or higher and more than 1.5GB of memory for the relevant current-generation devices, but feature availability can vary by phone, region and model.

Some health functions may require a Samsung Galaxy phone, Samsung Health, a Samsung account or regional approval. LTE also requires a compatible carrier and usually adds a monthly service charge. A $134 purchase can therefore become a much more expensive ownership decision if cellular service is required.
Before purchasing, confirm your phone’s Android version, whether the health features you want work on your handset, and whether your carrier supports the watch’s LTE setup.

The deal is most compelling when the final price is genuinely close to $134 after trading in a device you already intended to replace, and when the watch is new with a normal manufacturer or retailer warranty. The Ultra’s large case and rugged design make more sense for hikers, outdoor athletes, travelers and users who specifically want LTE, greater battery capacity or advanced outdoor features.
It is less compelling if you must buy an expensive device solely to obtain the trade-in credit, if the trade-in is likely to be downgraded, or if you only need notifications, activity tracking, sleep tracking and basic Samsung Health functions. A standard Galaxy Watch may provide those essentials for less.

Retailer and listing checks
Best Buy’s product pages have shown new 2025 Galaxy Watch Ultra listings at $649.99 alongside lower “more buying options” or open-box prices. Those prices should not be presented as equivalent to a new, factory-sealed Samsung unit. Check the seller, condition, included accessories, warranty and return window. Marketplace listings can carry different risks from retailer-direct offers.
For any retailer, look for:
- the model year and exact model number;
- LTE versus Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connectivity;
- new, open-box or refurbished condition;
- seller identity and warranty coverage;
- return restrictions and restocking fees;
- the final total after tax, shipping and trade-in adjustments.

Bottom line
The Galaxy Watch Ultra was reported at $134.29 for Cyber Monday 2024, but only with a qualifying trade-in. Without that trade-in, the historical price was $434.29, and Samsung’s current listed price for the 2025 47mm LTE Ultra is $649.99 before promotions.
Buy only after the live checkout shows the exact model and a trade-in credit you are comfortable risking. If the $134 figure appears without clear trade-in terms, refers to open-box or marketplace stock, or requires a costly LTE plan, it is not the bargain the headline suggests.
