What the 2024 roundup listed—and what that means now
T3’s Sam Cross reported several discounted watches in the final days of the 2024 sale period. Those prices are useful as historical examples, but they do not show that the watches are still available at those prices today.

How to judge a watch deal before buying
A large reduction from a displayed original price does not by itself establish that a watch is good value. Check the exact item and the terms attached to that particular listing:

- Match the reference and variant. Confirm the model reference, dial, movement, case and bracelet. Similar-looking versions may not be equivalent.
- Check condition. Compare new watches with new watches, and pre-owned listings with pre-owned listings; note any differences in condition or included items.
- Verify the seller and stock. Check who is selling the watch, whether the seller is authorized or otherwise reputable, and whether it can deliver to your location.
- Read the return and warranty terms. Confirm the return window, who handles warranty service, and whether the manufacturer’s warranty applies in your country.
- Compare like with like. Evaluate the current selling price against a defensible reference price for the same variant, rather than treating a crossed-out price as proof of savings.
What UK shoppers can and cannot rely on
The historic T3 examples are in pounds, but they do not establish that any UK retailer currently has the watches in stock at those prices. The current Citizen listing established here is in US dollars and comes with US-specific service terms. No current UK Rolex or Tissot prices or stock are confirmed, so claims that those brands have live post-Black-Friday deals would be premature.
