The Casio G-SHOCK Nano DWN5600 is a functioning digital watch built into a ring-sized case—not merely a decorative miniature. Casio lists shock resistance, 20-bar water resistance and familiar timekeeping functions, but its fit and features are scaled for a finger. Check the strap range and your local listing before ordering.
What the G-SHOCK Nano DWN5600 is
The DWN5600 takes the square styling of the G-SHOCK 5600 line and puts a digital watch module into a ring-sized design. Casio describes the module as about one-tenth the size of a regular watch module; that is the manufacturer’s design description, not an independently measured comparison. The US product page presents three variants: DWN5600-1, DWN5600-4 and DWN5600-9. Casio’s G-SHOCK Nano product page does not state a publication date.
It is a watch in the sense that it displays and keeps time and includes timing functions, but its ring format is not a substitute for a conventional wristwatch display or fit. Its appeal is the miniature 5600 look and wearable form factor.
What the specifications mean
Casio lists shock resistance and water resistance up to 20 bar. These are manufacturer specifications; no independent durability or water-resistance test is established here. Treat the stated rating as a product claim, not a guarantee about a particular activity or a used, damaged or poorly maintained unit.

Casio also says the battery can be replaced. The case is described as glass-fiber-reinforced resin, with a urethane bezel and stainless-steel buttons, buckle and case back. Those materials and features distinguish it from a full-metal ring watch.
Fit: check the strap before ordering
The Nano uses an adjustable strap with holes. Casio gives an approximate adjustment range of 48 to 82 mm. Because this is a ring-sized wearable rather than a standard watch band, do not assume that the range guarantees a comfortable or secure fit for your finger. Check Casio’s sizing guidance, measure as directed, and confirm the fit implications with the seller before purchase. The stated range is approximate and comes from Casio, not an independent measurement.

How it differs from Casio’s CRW-001 ring watch
The CRW-001 is a separate Casio model, not another name for the G-SHOCK Nano. Their construction, water-resistance descriptions and sizing systems differ, so one model’s specifications should not be used to judge the other.

What to verify before buying
- Confirm the exact model. Match the listing to DWN5600-1, DWN5600-4 or DWN5600-9; do not let a CRW-001 listing stand in for a Nano.
- Check fit. Compare your measurement with Casio’s approximate 48–82 mm strap adjustment range and the product’s current sizing guidance.
- Read the local listing. Verify seller, region, included items, return terms and whether the listing is for a new watch. The official page lists variants and purchase links, but the evidence here does not establish live stock, price or delivery timing.
- Use the right expectations. Casio advertises shock resistance and 20-bar water resistance, but no independent testing is established here. For decisions involving a specific use, consult the current product guidance rather than inferring performance from the G-SHOCK name alone.
