The Credor Eichi II GBLT997 is the Ruri blue porcelain-dial version of Credor’s hand-wound Spring Drive watch. It pairs a platinum 950 case with caliber 7R14, a stated power reserve of approximately 60 hours, and a slim 39 mm profile. Credor’s current Japanese product page displays ¥7,865,000 including tax; Seiko’s 2020 launch announcement listed different launch-era prices for Japan and Europe.
What is the Credor Eichi II GBLT997?
GBLT997 is the Eichi II with a Ruri blue porcelain dial. Credor describes Ruri as lapis-lazuli blue and says its appearance varies with light intensity. The company’s product description calls the color a contrast to the white indexes and hands; that is Credor’s own product copy, not an independent review.
The watch combines a hand-wound Spring Drive movement with a platinum case and a crocodile leather strap. Its proportions are relatively compact for a high-end dress watch: 39.0 mm across and 10.3 mm thick, according to Credor’s current product listing.

How the blue porcelain dial is made
Credor says the porcelain surface is formed using glaze fired at high temperature. To reach the intended blue depth, the team explored more than 20 glaze combinations and repeated the firing process. The hour markers and Credor logo are hand-drawn. Because the shade changes with light, the Ruri dial may look different as illumination and viewing angle change.
How caliber 7R14 works
Caliber 7R14 is a hand-wound Spring Drive movement with a power-reserve indicator. Credor lists approximately 60 hours of reserve and 41 jewels.

Seiko’s 2020 announcement also describes the movement’s Torque Return System. When the mainspring is fully wound, the system uses energy that is not needed to maintain precision to rewind the mainspring. Seiko said it operates for 35 hours after full winding and helps raise the reserve to about 60 hours—roughly 25% more than the 48 hours stated for manual-winding caliber 7R88.
Case size, wear and water resistance
The platinum 950 case measures 39.0 mm in diameter, 45.0 mm lug-to-lug and 10.3 mm thick. Credor lists a 19 mm band width and a total weight of 99 g. Those dimensions and the crocodile strap describe a dress-oriented watch rather than a sports model.

Credor specifies splash resistance, while Seiko’s 2020 launch release gives a 3-bar rating. This is daily-life water resistance, not a swimming specification; avoid treating the GBLT997 as a watch for swimming or other water sports.
Credor’s stated accuracy is ±15 seconds per month, also expressed as ±1 second per day, and its listed magnetic resistance is 4,800 A/m. These are the manufacturer’s specifications, not results from an independent test.
