The Certina DS Action Diver Chrono is an automatic chronograph dive watch that Certina announced on 15 July 2024, with official-retailer availability due to begin at the end of that month. Certina says it is water-resistant to 30 bar (300 metres) and meets ISO 6425:2018 requirements; those are manufacturer claims, not independently verified test results. The launch announcement’s “new” refers to its 2024 release, not a confirmed 2026 launch.
What the DS Action Diver Chrono offers
Certina describes the watch as a mechanical dive chronograph with a stainless-steel case, a unidirectional rotating bezel with a ceramic insert, a screw-down crown protected by guards, and Super-LumiNova on the hands and indices. The movement is automatic calibre A05.231; the product sheet for reference C032.827.11.041.00 calls it VALJOUX A05.231 and specifies a silicon balance spring and 30-minute chronograph.

Size: check the specific reference
Certina’s launch announcement gives the case diameter as 44.5 mm. The product sheet for the blue-dial C032.827.11.041.00 lists a width of 44.6 mm, a height of 16.17 mm, and 21 mm between the lugs. Certina does not explain the 0.1 mm difference, so it should not be treated as evidence of a design change. For that specific reference, the product sheet is the more precise source for dimensions.

Dial colours and bracelet or strap options
The launch announcement presents a sand-coloured dial on a striped textile strap made from #tide ocean material, as well as steel-bracelet versions with black or blue dials and matching ceramic bezel colours. Certina says the textile strap can be changed without tools.
