How does the GA-110JDB light up?
Casio specifies an amber LED light, a choice of 1.5- or 3-second illumination, an auto-light function and afterglow. The selectable duration lets the wearer choose how long the light remains on; auto-light is intended to activate illumination when the watch is angled toward the face. Those details describe the lighting feature, not a proven ranking. Casio’s cited materials do not give brightness in a comparable unit or report tests of how easily the analog hands and digital displays can be read in darkness. What makes this Dragon Ball Z collaboration distinctive?
Casio announced the GA-110JDB collaboration on June 17, 2020, based on the GA-110 series; its Japanese announcement scheduled release for August 2020. The design uses an orange case and band with Dragon Ball illustrations, gold accents on the dial and logo, a four-star-ball motif at 9 o’clock and a “Z” motif at 3 o’clock. The caseback and package also carry Dragon Ball Z branding. Casio’s collaboration announcement describes it as a collaboration model.

What did it cost at launch?
Casio Japan’s June 17, 2020 announcement listed a suggested retail price of ¥26,400 including tax for the Japanese launch, scheduled for August 2020. That is a historical, market-specific launch price—not a current price, a valuation, or evidence of what a particular reseller now charges. The figure appears in Casio’s Japanese release.

Is the GA-110JDB easy to read in the dark?
The amber LED, afterglow and selectable lighting duration are documented; a measured level of brightness or tested readability of the complete dial in darkness is not. If night-time legibility is your deciding factor, those specifications alone cannot establish how clearly you will see each analog hand and digital display in your own conditions. The safest conclusion is that the model offers a defined amber-light feature, not that it has been proven superior to other 2020 watches.
