What makes the Manhattan 39 Ultra-Thin distinctive?
MAEN positions the 39 Ultra-Thin as the larger sibling of the Manhattan 37. The brand says it developed the 39 mm version after prototyping and hearing from buyers who preferred a larger case. It retains the collection’s steel case, vertically elongated octagonal bezel, Côtes de Genève dial and integrated-bracelet design, while using a hand-wound movement.
The dial’s elongated Geneva stripes give the broad, flat-looking face a strong vertical texture. That is a design description, not a claim about legibility in every lighting condition. How thin is it, and what are the dimensions?
MAEN lists a 39 mm diameter, 6.9 mm thickness and 47.8 mm lug-to-lug measurement. The watch weighs 121 g. The integrated bracelet tapers from 23.5 mm at the case to 17 mm. MAEN describes the manual-wind design as reducing thickness from 9.3 mm by 26%; that percentage is the brand’s calculation, not an independent measurement.

The stated specifications are 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), 18 jewels and approximately 50 hours of power reserve. The listed functions are hours and minutes; MAEN does not list a seconds hand or date function.

Hand winding means the wearer supplies power by winding the crown rather than relying on wrist motion to wind an automatic rotor. The approximately 50-hour reserve is the brand’s stated figure, not a guarantee of identical running time in every use. Older references to an ETA 7001 relate to historical descriptions and should not be mixed into the specifications of the model MAEN currently lists.
What are the case, crystal and water-resistance specifications?
- Case and bracelet: 316L stainless steel; the bracelet is integrated into the case.
- Crystal: Sapphire with anti-reflective coating.
- Caseback: Screwed sapphire-glass caseback.
- Water resistance: MAEN lists 10 ATM.
The 10 ATM figure is the manufacturer’s rating. It should not be treated as a blanket recommendation for a specific water activity without checking the manufacturer’s guidance and the watch’s condition.

What dial colours are listed?
MAEN’s Manhattan 39 collection page lists five colours: Forest Green, Ice Blue, Ghost Grey, Midnight Blue and Garnet Red. The M4.1.1 Forest Green product page is one specific variant; a colour appearing in the collection does not establish that it is currently in stock.
What does the MAEN Manhattan 39 Ultra-Thin cost?
On MAEN’s US M4.1.1 Forest Green product page, the displayed price was $1,358 including VAT when checked on October 3, 2026.
