It is better understood as a mechanical display than as a watch designed for the quickest glance at the time. Its defining trade-offs are the unusual proportions, a raised sapphire bubble, and a price that varies by the source and material—and is not confirmed here as current.
What is the MARK 1 Möbius?
It is the debut model in Fam Al Hut’s Möbius collection, launched in January 2025 according to the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) model profile. The watch pairs an open, skeletonised display with a manually wound M-01T movement and a bi-axis tourbillon. Revolution reports that the MARK 1 Möbius won the 2025 GPHG Audacity Prize; that is an award distinction, separate from its technical specifications.
How does the movement and display work?
The M-01T is a manual-winding mechanical skeleton movement. Its tourbillon rotates on two axes, making the mechanism a prominent part of the watch’s visual presentation. The GPHG profile lists a 50-hour power reserve and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, equivalent to 3 Hz.
Time is shown with retrograde indications: the hour jumps and the minute indication moves smoothly, as described in Fratello’s July 2025 hands-on report. This arrangement puts motion and mechanics on display, but the twin retrograde scales are less immediately legible than conventional hands and markers. Fratello’s assessment is an editorial impression from handling the watch, not a formal readability test.

Tourbillon rotation: prototype and later production account
The rotation figures changed between the early prototype report and later coverage, so they should not be treated as contradictory specifications for one unchanged watch. Fratello said its July 2025 prototype had axes turning in 150 and 60 seconds, with the brand then planning to change the slower rotation to 90 seconds for production. Revolution’s January 2026 account describes the production configuration as 90- and 60-second rotations. The 150-second figure belongs to Fratello’s prototype account, not the later reported production configuration.
What are the dimensions and wearing implications?
The GPHG profile lists the case at 24.3 × 42.2 × 12.9 mm, with 30 m water resistance. Fratello separately reports a maximum height of 17.4 mm at the raised sapphire bubble. The 12.9 mm figure is the listed case dimension; it does not include that bubble’s maximum height. The profile also specifies a rubber strap with folding buckle and a steel case.

The case has no conventional lugs and meets an integrated rubber strap, emphasizing its elongated shape. Fratello’s reviewer said the prototype sat comfortably on their wrist, but that personal experience does not establish how it will fit every wrist. Its narrow width relative to its 42.2 mm length and pronounced crystal height are worth considering in person if fit and clearance under sleeves matter.

The GPHG profile lists a steel version at CHF 26,620 including VAT. Fratello’s July 2025 article reported US$32,000 for steel and US$33,000 for an amorphous zirconium option, described there as a US$1,000 upgrade over steel.
