Hands-On: The Nezumi Adventure Trio

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The Nezumi Adventure Trio is a coordinated three-watch travel kit: the Aviera GMT handles a second time zone, the Baleine is the water-ready diver, and the Terrain covers field-watch and everyday duties. All three use black dials with cream-colored numerals, markers and hands, accented by one dark-yellow hand, so they look like a deliberate set rather than unrelated watches.

What is included in the Nezumi Adventure Trio?

The concept is straightforward: three tool watches with distinct jobs but a shared visual language. Jorg Weppelink of Fratello Watches praised “creating three aesthetically linked but functionally different watches to cover a variety of situations.” The trio therefore makes most sense as a rotation for travel, outdoor use and daily wear, not as three versions of the same watch.

Watch Primary role Movement and key function Water resistance and equipment Published review price
Aviera GMT Second time zone and travel Automatic Miyota 9075 flyer-style GMT; 28,800 vibrations per hour; 42-hour power reserve; independently adjustable 12-hour hand 40mm stainless-steel case; 200m water resistance; 20mm lug width €490 before tax, WatchTested, May 2024
Baleine Diving and water use Movement specification not stated in the cited review 40mm stainless-steel case; 200m water resistance; screw-down crown; 120-click unidirectional bezel with luminous 60-minute scale Individual price not stated
Terrain Field watch and everyday wear Automatic Miyota 9039; 28,800 beats per hour; 42-hour power reserve Field-watch configuration; review notes leather, rubber and bracelet options €420 before tax, WatchTested, May 2024

Fratello described the complete trio as costing a little more than €1,500 after tax in 2024. Those are dated review figures, not a current quote; check Nezumi’s present listings for today’s prices, taxes and regional availability.

Aviera GMT: the travel specialist

Is it a true traveler GMT?

Yes, the reviewed Aviera uses the automatic Miyota 9075, a flyer-style GMT movement. Its independently adjustable 12-hour hand lets you jump the local-time hand when you arrive somewhere new while leaving the reference time undisturbed. That is the practical distinction between a traveler GMT and a caller GMT, where the GMT hand is normally the one adjusted for a second time zone.

Sanrio My Melody & Kuromi Kids Smartwatch with Touchscreen – Features 10 Interactive Faces, Camera for Selfies, Voice Recorder, Step Counter, 26 Games – Pink Silicone Strap Kids Interactive Fun Watch
  • Features 10 adorable My Melody & Kuromi watch faces for kids to switch and enjoy

  • Equipped with a step tracker and calorie counter, encouraging active play
  • Includes 26 engaging games to keep kids entertained and challenged
  • Soft, comfortable pink silicone strap with vibrant My Melody & Kuromi design

The Explorer II-style layout is intended to show two time zones at once. The 40mm stainless-steel case, 200m water resistance and 20mm lugs give it useful everyday and travel durability without making it a specialist dive watch.

Movement details

  • Automatic Miyota 9075
  • 28,800 vibrations per hour
  • Approximately 42 hours of power reserve
  • Independently adjustable 12-hour hand for local-time changes

Choose the Aviera if crossing time zones is the reason you are buying. Its GMT mechanism is the trio’s defining capability; the other two watches do not provide an equivalent travel-time function.

Baleine: the water-oriented member

The Baleine is the most purpose-built watch in the trio. Its 40mm stainless-steel case is rated to 200m, and the screw-down crown adds the sealing hardware expected of a serious recreational dive watch. A 120-click unidirectional bezel with a luminous 60-minute scale provides the elapsed-time tool divers actually use.

What the bezel is for

Before entering the water, align the bezel’s zero marker with the minute hand. Because the bezel turns only counter-clockwise, an accidental knock can indicate more elapsed time rather than falsely suggesting that you have more air or bottom time remaining. The luminous scale is intended to keep that reading legible as light fades.

The cited material does not specify the Baleine’s movement, accuracy, power reserve or bracelet dimensions, so those details should be confirmed on the current product listing before purchase.

Terrain: the everyday field watch

The Terrain is the least specialized and therefore the easiest to wear daily. WatchTested lists an automatic Miyota 9039 beating at 28,800 beats per hour with a 42-hour power reserve. Its field-watch brief suits office wear, commuting and ordinary outdoor use without the visual bulk of a dive bezel or the extra hand of a GMT.

Review coverage describes leather, rubber and bracelet configurations across the collection. That gives the Terrain the broadest styling range: leather for a cleaner casual look, rubber for wet or active use, and a bracelet when you want a more conventional all-purpose setup. Verify which configuration is included with the specific current reference you are considering.

How the three watches compare in real use

For international travel

Start with the Aviera GMT. The independently adjustable local-hour hand removes the main inconvenience of resetting a normal three-hand watch after a flight. The 200m rating also means it is not fragile in hotel pools, rain or everyday travel conditions, although its travel function—not its water rating—is the reason to choose it.

For diving and water activities

Choose the Baleine. Its screw-down crown, 200m rating and luminous unidirectional timing bezel are the relevant equipment. The Aviera and Terrain may tolerate water to their stated limits, but neither is described with the Baleine’s dedicated dive-timing hardware.

For one watch worn most days

The Terrain is the natural default if you do not need a second time zone or dive bezel. The Miyota 9039 is a simple automatic three-hand platform, and the available strap formats let the same watch move between work, weekends and light outdoor use.

For a coherent three-watch rotation

The trio’s strongest argument is coverage: GMT, dive and field roles without abandoning a common design. The black-and-cream palette with a dark-yellow hand makes switching watches feel intentional, while the different complications prevent the set from becoming repetitive.

Are the watches worth buying as a set?

The answer depends on whether you will use all three jobs. A set is defensible for a traveler who also swims or dives and wants a low-key everyday watch. Buying the trio solely for matching colors is harder to justify, especially because the 2024 review prices are historical and the Baleine’s individual price was not stated in the available coverage.

  • Buy the Aviera alone if local-time adjustment is your priority.
  • Buy the Baleine alone if you need a bezel and water-focused construction.
  • Buy the Terrain alone if you want the simplest daily field watch.
  • Buy the trio when each role will see regular use and current combined pricing is competitive with the three watches purchased separately.

Before ordering, confirm the current reference numbers, included straps or bracelet, taxes, shipping and warranty terms. The published €490 Aviera and €420 Terrain figures were pre-tax prices reported by WatchTested in 2024; Fratello’s “a little more than €1,500” trio figure was an after-tax 2024 description. None should be treated as a guaranteed 2026 price.

Bottom line

Nezumi’s Adventure Trio works because the watches are functionally different rather than merely color-matched. The Aviera is the technically interesting choice for frequent flyers, the Baleine is the purpose-built water watch, and the Terrain is the most versatile daily wearer. As a complete set, it is worthwhile only when you genuinely need that three-part coverage and have checked the current price and configuration.
