HONOR introduced the Watch 5 Pro in China in October 2025, with sales reported to start on October 23. Launch coverage describes a round 1.5-inch AMOLED display rated for up to 3,000 nits, AI-assisted fitness features, and Bluetooth and eSIM versions. The announced prices and availability are China-specific; current international sales and regional eSIM support have not been established.
What HONOR announced
The Watch 5 Pro is a circular-screen smartwatch offered in Bluetooth and eSIM configurations. Its specifications and features below are those reported at launch, not results from independent testing.
Display and build
Launch coverage lists a 1.5-inch AMOLED display with 466 × 466 resolution, 310 ppi, and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. HONOR also lists stainless-steel framing and IP68, IP69, IP69K, and 5ATM ratings. These ratings are specifications, not independent proof of durability under every condition.
Connectivity and positioning
Reported specifications include Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, eSIM support on the relevant configuration, and dual-frequency, triple-satellite positioning. Whether the eSIM version works with a particular carrier or in a particular country is not established by the launch reports.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
AI coaching and other features
Launch coverage describes YOYO AI with DeepSeek integration, voice recording with transcription, wrist gestures, and an AI personal coach for running and fitness. Availability of AI functions, languages, and connected services may vary by market; the reports do not establish that every feature works in every region.
Health monitoring: what is claimed and what it means
HONOR says the Watch 5 Pro introduced a sensing system for all-day monitoring of heart rate, blood pressure, and blood oxygen. Launch reports also list ECG monitoring. These are health-monitoring features, not diagnoses. Notebookcheck cautions that blood-pressure readings should be treated as rough guidance and not as a replacement for a medical blood-pressure monitor.

The company also said it contacted more than 1,000 high-risk users and helped over 900 confirm potential health issues. These are HONOR-reported program totals, not Watch 5 Pro-specific results or independent validation of its measurements.

Availability outside China
Gadgets 360 reported that sales through HONOR’s China online store were due to begin October 23, 2025. At the time of Notebookcheck’s report, HONOR had not confirmed an international launch. Current availability in any specific market, local warranty terms, and regional eSIM or language support remain unverified here, so a China launch listing should not be taken as confirmation that the watch is supported where you live.

Choosing between Bluetooth and eSIM

- eSIM version: offers cellular connectivity, but its usefulness depends on carrier and regional support, and the reported battery claims are shorter than Bluetooth mode.
A secondary specification database lists standard 22 mm straps, but check compatibility with the exact watch variant before ordering a replacement band.
