IFL says its 300-piece run has individually hand-painted dials inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night, showing a figure and cat on a rooftop beneath a swirling sky. The watch retains the Super Seville’s reported 37.5 mm case, quartz movement, sapphire crystal, date display and 30 m water resistance.
What is the Bulova Super Seville Starry Night?
It is a genuine Bulova Super Seville that IFL Watches customized with a hand-painted dial. IFL identifies the base watch as reference 97B223 and describes deep-blue and golden-yellow artwork inspired by Van Gogh’s The Starry Night, with a rooftop figure and cat. IFL says every dial is unique and the edition is limited to 300 pieces worldwide; those are the seller’s stated edition details, not independently audited production figures. IFL’s US product listing provides the model description and specifications.
Is it an official Bulova collaboration?
No. IFL’s EU listing says the watch was customized after its original retail purchase, that the original dial was modified or replaced, and that IFL opened and modified the watch. The same disclosure states that Bulova did not perform, authorize or endorse the customization. It is therefore best understood as an IFL custom built on a Bulova watch, rather than a co-branded or manufacturer-approved special edition. There is a conflict in the caliber name. IFL lists the movement as NM50, while Fratello’s December 1, 2025 launch coverage calls it the “Bulova NM10 Precisionist,” gives its frequency as 262 kHz and describes accuracy as within seconds per year. The reported frequency is close in both accounts, but the different caliber labels should not be silently treated as interchangeable. Anyone for whom the exact caliber or accuracy specification matters should confirm it with IFL or Bulova. Fratello’s launch article also reports a screw-in stainless-steel caseback and an integrated three-row gold IP-coated bracelet with butterfly clasp.
Price and availability depend on region and date
Fratello reported a US$1,290 launch price on December 1, 2025. The IFL US listing showed US$1,290 and sold-out or waitlist status when checked for this article; the EU listing showed €1,290 and sold out, while the UAE listing showed AED 4,990 with one in stock. What comes with it, and what warranty is stated?
The EU listing says the package includes IFL Watches packaging and warranty documentation, rather than the original manufacturer’s packaging. It states a two-year IFL warranty covering dial installation, craftsmanship and functional performance. Those terms are specifically from the EU listing; warranty coverage and packaging terms for other regions are not established here, so buyers should check the listing for their location before ordering.

What to weigh before buying
- The customization is the defining feature. The painted dial gives this edition its appeal, but the work is by IFL and is not endorsed by Bulova.
- The edition claim comes from the seller. IFL states 300 pieces worldwide, but does not provide an independent production or sales audit in its listing.
- Confirm the movement label if it is important to you. The official IFL listing and Fratello’s launch report use different caliber names.
- Read the local listing’s terms. Regional stock, price, packaging and warranty details may differ.
