1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesRokid Style is a real pair of camera-equipped, voice-first AI glasses announced at CES 2026. Rokid says the frame weighs 38.5 grams before lenses, but it has no screen, projector or heads-up display. Instead, it uses open-ear speakers, microphones, a 12MP camera and a phone companion app for AI questions, translation, navigation, calls, music and first-person capture. That makes Style audio AI eyewear—not AR glasses.
The product is currently listed as Rokid Ai Glasses Style (Non-Display). Global online sales were announced for January 19, 2026. Whether it is a good buy depends mainly on whether you want hands-free audio and a camera, or visible information in your lenses.
What “no display” means
Style’s lenses are ordinary prescription or sunglass lenses. They do not show text, maps, captions or graphics.
| Capability | Rokid Style | Display-equipped glasses |
|---|---|---|
| Voice AI | Yes | Usually |
| Camera and open-ear audio | Yes | Often |
| Visible captions or translated subtitles | No | Model-dependent |
| Turn-by-turn arrows or AR overlays | No | Model-dependent |
| Visual notifications or video viewing | No | Model-dependent |
Answers arrive through directional audio, while setup, media management and many AI functions use the Hi Rokid phone app. Touch controls, a camera button and head gestures handle actions such as taking pictures or answering calls.

Weight, fit and prescription lenses
The 38.5-gram figure excludes lenses. High-index, progressive, photochromic, polarized or otherwise specialized prescription lenses can add weight and cost. Comfort also depends on frame geometry, nose-pad adjustment, head size, lens thickness and prescription.

Rokid positions Style as prescription-first and advertises progressive, photochromic, tinted, polarized, UV, blue-light and anti-reflective options, including support for prescriptions up to ±15.00 diopters. Its launch material says prescription orders may arrive in approximately seven to 10 days, and the landing page showed lens service from $79. Those are company claims. Confirm measurements, turnaround, warranty and whether customized lenses can be returned before ordering; an independent optician may not be covered by the same terms.
Camera quality and privacy
The camera points wherever the wearer turns their head, which is convenient for hands-free capture but less precise than framing with a phone. Eye-level video can include people or sensitive spaces unintentionally, and venues may prohibit recording. Rokid advertises a recording indicator light.
Digital Camera World’s review found image quality adequate rather than exceptional, described the indicator as insufficiently clear and reported an unstable or temperamental AI/app experience. Those are reviewer observations, not a universal measurement of every unit. Ask permission where appropriate and do not assume a small light makes recording obvious to bystanders.

Rokid lists separate estimates rather than 12 hours of every activity:
- Up to 12 hours of typical mixed use.
- About two hours of continuous translation in laboratory figures.
- About 45 minutes of continuous video recording in laboratory figures.
- About five hours of calls.
- About six hours of music.
Camera use, AI requests, call volume, network conditions, temperature and firmware can change endurance. Tom’s Guide found battery performance unusually strong for display-free glasses but criticized the charging arrangement.

- 3-Screen Multitasking: Rokid AR Spatial features a unique 3-screen display, allowing simultaneous use of 3 apps for boosted productivity, gaming, or immersive entertainment.Note: When connecting with Android phones, the 3-screen display is only supported via DLNA protocol (Miracast and ChromeCast connections are limited to single-screen mode).
- 4 Smart Modes + 3 Screen Sizes: Switch between Reading, Giant Screen, Sports, and Multi-Screen modes, each adjustable to Wide (16:9), Narrow (3:4), or Ultra-Wide (21:9) ratios(Some apps,e.g., File Assistant, don`t support). In Giant Screen Mode, the aspect ratio can expand up to 32:9, delivering a more immersive viewing experience for movies and videos.
- 3DoF (Three Degrees of Freedom) Functionality: Giant Screen Mode and Multi-Screen Mode support 3DoF, allowing the display to remain fixed in space without following head movements. Sports Mode and Reading Mode only support 0DoF, meaning the screen moves along with your head. (Is a versatile AR solution for work and play)
- Myopia & IPD Adjustment: Supports up to 600 degrees(currently, astigmatism is not supported). Effortlessly fine-tune the adjustment dials on top of the glasses to achieve optimal comfort and clarity, elevating your movie and gaming adventures to a new level. Users with myopia greater than 600° will need to purchase separate prescription lenses. Auto IPD adjustment (55–72mm) when paired with Station2.
- Cinematic Visuals: Max2 AR glasses boast a 50% larger Micro OLED display vs. Max, with 1920×1200 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 600 nits brightness, and 108% sRGB for vivid, lag-free visuals. (Causes enhanced immersion in movies/games)
The base package uses a magnetic charging cable and a protective case that does not recharge the glasses. Rokid lists an optional 1,700mAh capsule battery and a 3,000mAh charging case advertised to provide 11 charges. The dedicated case was listed at $99 and the cable at $39. Travelers should budget for the case or carry another charging solution rather than expecting a Ray-Ban Meta-style battery case in the box.
What is in the standard box?
- Rokid AI Glasses Style
- Long and short nose pads
- Storage case
- Magnetic charging cable
- User manual
Prescription lenses, the capsule battery, rechargeable charging case and other accessories depend on the selected configuration.
Phone, cloud and account dependence
The Hi Rokid app is used for pairing and control, and Rokid confirms AI-service activation and media-library management through the app. However, the public product pages reviewed do not fully specify offline behavior, local-versus-cloud processing, retention periods, every supported U.S. language, operating-system requirements or whether each AI provider needs a separate account.
Assume that advanced AI, translation, navigation and media syncing may require Bluetooth, internet access, phone permissions and an active service until Rokid’s current manual and privacy terms say otherwise. Check those documents before buying if offline use or data handling is a deciding factor.

Rokid Style versus Rokid Glasses

Choose the display-equipped model if captions, visual navigation, overlays or a wearable screen are the reason you are shopping. Style is not a cheaper version of the same AR experience; it is a different category.
Rokid Style versus Ray-Ban Meta
Independent reviews generally describe Meta’s competing camera glasses as having a more mature software ecosystem, more polished hardware and a charging case included with the glasses. Tom’s Guide also reported that Style lacks Meta’s point-of-view video-call functionality. Rokid counters with a lighter claimed frame, prescription-first positioning, multi-provider AI messaging and strong claimed battery life.
Tom’s Guide found Style’s construction less rigid than Meta’s, while TechRadar criticized its styling. Digital Camera World raised software and recording-light concerns. These are useful review judgments, not objective scores, so the better choice depends on whether weight, prescription flexibility and provider choice matter more to you than ecosystem polish and charging convenience.

It makes sense if you want
- Audio-first AI without visual distractions.
- Prescription customization and a relatively light frame.
- Hands-free first-person photos and short video clips.
- Audio translation, navigation and meeting assistance.
- Longer mixed-use endurance than many display-based designs claim.
Look elsewhere if you need
- Visible captions, subtitles, maps, notifications or AR overlays.
- Phone-camera-level image quality or precise framing.
- A rechargeable case included in the base package.
- Highly polished software and video-call integration.
- Clear answers about offline AI processing or data retention.
- A premium, especially rigid fashion frame.
Verdict
Rokid Style is best understood as lightweight, phone-connected AI camera eyewear—not a heads-up display. Its no-display design can mean less visual distraction, lower complexity and strong battery potential, but it removes every visual function and leaves charging accessories, cloud dependence, privacy questions and lens costs to the buyer. Buy it for voice AI, audio translation and point-of-view capture; skip it if the words “smart glasses” mean visible navigation, captions or augmented-reality content to you.
