Tom Brady wore Jacob & Co.’s Caviar Tourbillon Yellow Sapphires during Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025. Fortune reported a Jacob & Co. spokesperson’s price of $740,000, while Forbes described the same figure as the watch’s retail price. That is a reported retail figure—not an independent appraisal, verified sale price or resale valuation.
The watch Tom Brady wore
Jacob & Co.’s own newsroom listing identifies Brady’s watch as the Caviar Tourbillon Yellow Sapphires. It is a gem-set, high-complication wristwatch rather than a standard production sports model. Brady wore it at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans while making his first Super Bowl appearance as a Fox Sports commentator.
Super Bowl LIX was played on February 9, 2025, according to the NFL’s 2024 Record & Fact Book. Contemporary coverage from Fortune and Forbes was published the following day.
Why the reported price reaches $740,000
Fortune’s February 10, 2025 report says a Jacob & Co. spokesperson told the publication that the watch costs $740,000. Forbes’ account from the same date also calls $740,000 its retail price. Neither article documents a completed transaction or an independent valuation, so the precise claim is that the watch was reported at $740,000.

- Yellow sapphires: 48.92 carats

The large case and extensive stone setting explain why this is priced in a very different category from ordinary luxury sports watches. The tourbillon is the mechanical centerpiece; the sapphire and diamond setting supplies much of the visual and material extravagance.
How the 424 stones are arranged
Forbes provides a more granular placement breakdown than Fortune. Keep this account attached to Forbes, since the two reports summarize the gem count differently:
Rank #3
- Movement: Japanese Imported quartz analog movement, provide precise time and long term running.
- Waterproof: Water resistant to 30M. Daily use waterproof, washing hands, raining or splash. But not suitable for swimming, diving, shower.
- Material: Anti-scratch mineral glass and environmental protection vacuum plating case never fade. Genuine leather strap, delicate and soft.
- Multifunction Design: Simple and luxurious dial, covers the week, date, time display, chronograph, LED light functions.
- Perfect Gift: This elegant looking luxury wristwatch can be worn for a variety of occasions, whether formal, business or casual, or from indoor, outdoor events or everyday use.
| Location | Forbes’ reported setting |
|---|---|
| Case | 224 baguette-cut yellow sapphires |
| Crown | 16 additional yellow sapphires plus a large rose-cut gem |
| Dial | 130 baguette-cut yellow gems |
| Total | Forbes describes 424 yellow jewels |
| Case diameter | 47 mm |
Fortune’s description instead refers to 424 gems overall and separately quantifies the yellow-sapphire and white-diamond carat weights. That wording should not be treated as a laboratory gem inventory beyond what each publication reported.
The flying tourbillon and the Caviar design
A flying tourbillon leaves out the traditional upper bridge, giving the regulating assembly a suspended appearance when viewed through the dial. On this watch, that mechanism is framed by a Caviar-style field of closely set stones and an oversized 47-mm gold case. The result is intentionally theatrical: the watch functions as both a mechanical complication and a high-jewelry object.

Jacob & Co. has released multiple Caviar Tourbillon variants. The company’s published Tsavorites page concerns a separate green-gem model, not Brady’s yellow-sapphire watch.
| Specification | Brady’s Yellow Sapphires model | Tsavorites model (separate variant) |
|---|---|---|
| Gem material | Yellow sapphires, with white diamonds also reported | Green tsavorites |
| Case | 47 mm yellow gold, according to Fortune and Forbes | 47 mm, according to Jacob & Co.’s Tsavorites page |
| Published stone count | 424 reported by Fortune; Forbes gives a 424-yellow-jewel breakdown | 373 tsavorites: 224 on the case, 130 on the dial and 18 on the buckle |
| Movement details | One-minute flying tourbillon reported by Fortune | Jacob & Co. lists caliber JCAA43, self-winding operation, a flying tourbillon and 338 brilliant-cut white diamonds on the movement |
The Tsavorites specifications are useful collection context only. They should not be transferred to the Yellow Sapphires watch.
