Its Bruce Lee tribute is expressed through a dragon dial, Jeet Kune Do-inspired bezel inscription, two included straps, a serial-numbered caseback and a signature presentation box. Seiko announced the model in 2023, with availability from October that year; that announcement does not confirm current stock or pricing.
What is the Seiko SRPK39?
SRPK39 is a special-edition Seiko 5 Sports watch honoring Bruce Lee. Seiko says Lee wore Seiko 5 Sports watches during his lifetime, and introduced this model as part of the collection’s 55th-anniversary year. The company announced a production run of 15,000 pieces. The caseback is marked “Limited Edition” and bears an individual serial number. Seiko’s Bruce Lee special page

What makes the Bruce Lee edition distinctive?
Dragon dial and Jeet Kune Do bezel
The dial features a dragon drawing that Seiko attributes to Lee. The bezel carries characters that Seiko says represent the spirit of Jeet Kune Do. In its press release, Seiko translates the phrase as “Using no way as way; having no limitation as limitation.” This is Seiko’s explanation of the inscription, not evidence that Lee personally selected or wrote the bezel wording.

Two straps and themed details
The included black leather strap evokes kung fu clothing, with the dragon design on its underside. The additional yellow-inspired nylon strap references Lee’s iconic yellow tracksuit. The special presentation box carries Lee’s signature; the caseback displays the Jeet Kune Do core symbol, based on yin-yang, along with the edition marking and serial number.
What was the SRPK39 launch price?
Seiko’s September 2023 announcement listed recommended launch prices of €520 in Europe and $650 in Canada. What to check before buying an SRPK39
Because the model was announced as a limited edition, a listing’s details matter as much as its asking price. Verify the exact SRPK39 reference and compare the watch’s condition, completeness and seller terms before committing.
- Confirm the reference: Check that the listing identifies the exact SRPK39, not another Seiko 5 Sports model or Bruce Lee-related reference.
- Check the edition marking: Ask for a clear caseback image showing “Limited Edition” and the serial number.
- Confirm what is included: Seiko’s original package includes a leather strap, an additional nylon strap and a specially designed presentation box. Do not assume a used or current listing still has all three.
- Review condition and seller terms: Compare condition, return provisions and the seller’s regional warranty details; the announcement does not establish the terms offered by individual sellers.
- Judge price locally: Compare the asking price with current offers in your market. The published European and Canadian launch prices are dated reference points, not a guide to current value.
Seiko’s published SRPK39 pages do not state a lug width or confirm compatibility with aftermarket straps, bracelets, replacement parts or tools. Do not assume a third-party accessory will fit based only on the model’s appearance.
