Two Broke Watch Snobs reported on October 3, 2026, that it is a European exclusive limited to 4,000 pieces, priced at €880. Those availability and price details are from that dated report, not a current stock check.
What makes the HBJ008 different?
The HBJ008 is a variation in color and package, rather than a new movement or case architecture. Two Broke Watch Snobs describes the dial as “Midnight Riviera Blue,” with black subdials and orange details. The watch comes on a steel bracelet and includes a brown rally-style leather strap.
The report says Seiko presents the design as inspired by classic European cars. Its vintage-racing character is also apparent in the rally strap and contrasting chronograph layout; that is a visual reading of the watch, not a separate claim about Seiko’s stated inspiration.

| Model or release | Distinguishing details | Reported commercial terms | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| HBJ008 | Blue dial, black subdials, orange accents; bracelet and brown rally-style strap; V192 solar chronograph | €880; reported European exclusive; limited to 4,000 pieces | Two Broke Watch Snobs, October 3, 2026 |
| Youngtimer trio: SSC961, SSC963, SSC965 | Off-white, pink, and mint-green dials respectively; 39 mm V192 solar quartz models with 100 m water resistance | £640 reported for the trio in Europe and the UK in February 2026 | Gear Patrol, February 2, 2026 |
| Motoring SSC959P1 | Cream dial, steel tachymeter bezel, 39 mm V192 solar quartz; included tan rally strap; 100 m water resistance | €860 / £730 reported; limited to 2,700 pieces for that release | Gear Patrol, October 3, 2025 |
The comparisons make the HBJ008’s case specific: its reported distinguishing package is the blue, black, and orange dial treatment plus a brown strap, at a reported €880. The earlier Motoring edition is the closest reference for the rally-strap idea, while the Youngtimer models share the solar V192 platform in different dial colors.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is the HBJ008 worth its reported premium?
That depends on whether the particular dial and second strap are the reasons you want this Speedtimer. The €880 reported price is higher than the £640 Gear Patrol reported for the distinct Youngtimer trio and the €860 / £730 it reported for the SSC959P1 Motoring model, but these are separate releases, markets, and dated prices—not a like-for-like current retail comparison. The available reporting does not establish current local pricing or stock.
