Dial and case details
The dial uses a satin-sandblast base beneath a coarse dégradé top layer, creating the Watermel0n’s distinctive two-layer appearance. Studio Underd0g specifies C3 Super-LumiNova and sapphire crystals, alongside the 316L steel case.
The stated 5 ATM water resistance is a specification, not a general guarantee for every kind of water activity. Follow the manufacturer’s care guidance and have the watch’s seals checked as appropriate before exposing it to water.

Is the Watermel0n Gen3 manual wind?
Yes. It uses the hand-wound ST-1901B chronograph movement, developed with Seagull for Studio Underd0g, according to the brand. The listed beat rate is 21,600 beats per hour. Studio Underd0g gives a power reserve of 50 hours when the chronograph is off and 45 hours when it is running.
The manufacturer says the movements are regulated in Great Britain to -10/+15 seconds per day. That is the brand’s stated regulation range, not an independently verified performance result.

How Gen3 differs from earlier Watermel0n versions
Specifications for the Gen3 should not be assumed to apply to Gen1 or Gen2. Studio Underd0g says the Gen3 mid-case was reduced from 13.6 mm to 12.9 mm, the crown was made thicker, the dial was retooled to add an “Assembled in Great Britain” mark, and the exhibition-caseback crystal was enlarged. These are the manufacturer’s descriptions of the revision.
The brand describes 01SERIES as “the one that started it all” for its mechanical chronographs. Fratello Watches reported the Gen3 launch pre-order price in 2024 as £550, €590 or US$650; that is historical launch pricing, not the current official listing. The current Studio Underd0g page lists £600 GBP.

Strap size and replacement
The lugs are 20 mm wide. The supplied leather strap is described as tapering from 20 mm at the lugs to 16 mm at the buckle and uses quick-release spring bars. A replacement strap should therefore be 20 mm wide at the watch end; confirm compatibility and fit with the strap maker, since no third-party strap fit is established here.
