What is the Uneggspected Series?
Wristcheck introduced the Uneggspected Series as its first collaboration with Studio Underd0g and the first limited edition built on the 01SERIES Generation 3 chronograph. It launched on Wristcheck.com on December 5, 2024. The concept turns the chronograph from a lap-timing instrument into a playful egg timer: Studio Underd0g founder Richard Benc framed the project around the question of how many people actually track lap times with their chronographs. Wristcheck’s launch announcement presents that as campaign framing, not as a claim about measured consumer behavior.

The stylized names use zeroes in B0iled and R0tten. Wristcheck’s product page marks Fried Egg and B0iled Egg sold out, but that is not confirmation of current inventory across all variants. The USD 800 figures are original listed prices for those two models, not current resale valuations. No current secondary-market pricing or transaction history is established by the official pages. Wristcheck’s collaboration product page lists the two prices.
What are the published specifications?
The watches are based on the 01SERIES Generation 3 chronograph. Wristcheck’s launch announcement and product page publish these core details:

Wristcheck says Studio Underd0g regulates each ST-1901B in Great Britain to a stated range of -10/+15 seconds per day. That is the maker’s published specification, not an independent accuracy test. What straps, fit and warranty details should buyers check?
Gen 3 is described with a stainless-steel Milanese strap alongside a leather strap fitted with quick-release spring bars. The 20 mm lug width makes other 20 mm quick-release straps a sensible place to start when looking for alternatives, but nominal width alone does not guarantee fit: check the attachment style and measurements of the specific strap listing.

The product page states a 24-month warranty managed directly by Studio Underd0g from the purchase date. A prospective buyer should confirm with Studio Underd0g and the seller whether a particular watch remains within the warranty period and whether coverage applies after resale; the published statement does not establish that warranty rights transfer to a subsequent owner.

The official launch information establishes limited edition sizes, original specifications and the original listed price for two variants, but it is not a guide to the present market. When evaluating a resale listing, compare the watch itself and its documentation rather than inferring value from edition size alone.

- Ask for images that show the case, dial, movement details where available, straps, and any signs of wear or prior service.
- Check whether the original box, papers, report card and purchase documentation are included; ask for the original purchase date if warranty status matters.
- Verify the stated movement and specifications with the seller, and confirm warranty eligibility directly with Studio Underd0g rather than assuming it transfers.
- Assess case dimensions and strap attachment against your fit needs; a 20 mm strap should also have compatible quick-release hardware.
