Talidara introduced the Heiwa in 2023 as its first wristwatch, pairing a dark, mountain-inspired monochrome dial with bright red and white ceramic accents. The brand described the design as an expression of tranquil living and Japanese art; its name, it says, means “peace” in Japanese. The compact case and visible mechanical movement give the watch a more detailed presence than its restrained dial might suggest.
What makes the Heiwa distinctive?
The central design contrast is between a quiet dial and vivid ceramic color. Talidara described the dial motif as resembling a peaceful mountain line, set against bright red and white ceramic. The brand’s stated inspiration is Japanese art, but that describes the design influence—not the watch’s place of manufacture.
Talidara connected the name Heiwa with slowing down and enjoying time rather than stressing about being somewhere on time. That is the company’s intended message, not a claim that wearing the watch produces a particular effect.

What the launch edition and availability record tell buyers
Talidara announced a planned edition of 88 pieces and said orders were available at launch, with shipments planned to begin in November 2023. Those are historical launch details, not confirmation that any watches remain for sale.
The brand’s current catalog presentation centers on jewelry and accessories and does not show Heiwa in the captured results. That alone cannot establish whether a watch remains available directly, from a dealer, or on the secondary market. Check with Talidara or a seller for current stock, condition, and price before buying. The current catalog is at Talidara’s all-products page.

The available specifications do not explain the modifications or provide independent accuracy measurements, so they are best treated as the maker’s description rather than a verified account of how an individual example performs.

What to check before buying one
- Confirm that the specific watch is available and establish the seller’s price, return terms, and provenance; the 2023 launch announcement is not a current listing.
- Ask for clear photographs of the dial, ceramic, case, and movement, plus details of condition and any service work.
- Request the lug width and strap compatibility for the individual watch if you plan to change its strap. A secondary 2023 product write-up mentions three included straps, but the available sources do not establish lug width or replacement-strap compatibility. See Uncrate’s Heiwa coverage.
- Do not assume a water-resistance rating or service history: neither was established in the available product information.
