The title refers to the Tissot PRX UFO Robot Grendizer 50th Anniversary, reference T137.407.33.051.01: a 40 mm black PVD-coated automatic watch limited to 1,975 pieces. It is distinct from the blue-dial Grendizer PRX introduced in 2024. Tissot’s U.S. listing shows the anniversary model at $1,100, marks it sold out, and says it will not be restocked; availability may differ in other selected markets.
Which Tissot PRX Grendizer is this?
There are two Grendizer PRX editions to distinguish. The 2024 collaboration was announced by Swatch Group as the Tissot PRX UFO Robot Grendizer and featured a blue dial. The later 50th-anniversary model is the black-dial, black PVD-coated edition with reference T137.407.33.051.01 and a production limit of 1,975 pieces. Tissot frames that release as a tribute to the anime property’s 50th anniversary and says it was created with Go Nagai. Tissot’s pressroom identifies Grendizer as a creation of Go Nagai in 1975 and dates the first PRX Grendizer edition to 2024. Swatch Group’s 2024 announcement and Tissot’s anniversary pressroom release provide that background.

What are the anniversary model’s specifications?
Tissot lists a 40 mm case width, 39.50 mm length, 10.93 mm thickness and 12 mm lug width. The case is black PVD-coated 316L stainless steel. The black dial sits beneath a sapphire crystal with antireflective coating on both sides, and the watch has luminous details. A quick-release bracelet and transparent caseback are also specified; the caseback reveals an engraved rotor.
Water resistance is rated at 10 bar (100 m / 330 ft). That is the manufacturer’s specification, not a claim about performance under independent testing or a guarantee for every real-world use.
