Tony Montana’s gold, transparent-dial watch in Scarface is less certain: the often-suggested Omega La Magique is only a candidate, not a confirmed match. These are watch-publication identifications, not production-certified costume records.
How certain are the film-watch identifications?
Watch publications and specialist identification sites can compare a watch’s visible shape, dial and bracelet with known models, but that is not the same as confirmation from a film’s wardrobe or prop records. No official production or wardrobe record confirming the models below is identified in the cited sources. The table separates the clearer attributions from the unresolved and less independently corroborated cases.

Scarface: the Omega La Magique is a candidate, not a settled answer
Tony Montana’s watch stands out for its gold appearance and transparent dial. The Omega La Magique is often proposed as the match, but visual resemblance alone does not establish the maker. Time+Tide author Nick Gould notes that the on-screen watch appears to have a crown at 3 o’clock and that its dial differs from the La Magique. His conclusion is direct: “This watch I can’t positively attribute to a maker.” Coronet likewise calls the La Magique association speculative and observes differences in the case and bracelet.
Coronet’s 2022 article reports that the Omega La Magique was released in 1982, that 261 examples of reference BA 191.8523 Z were produced, and that auction and online sale prices at the time were upwards of $10,000, with some examples above $20,000. Those are historical figures reported in 2022, not current prices or evidence that the film watch was an Omega. Time+Tide; Coronet.

Heat: Bvlgari Diagono on Vincent Hanna
Time+Tide identifies a Bvlgari Diagono chronograph on Pacino as LAPD Lieutenant Vincent Hanna, noting that the watch is clearly visible during the major shootout. WatchReel gives the more specific attribution Bvlgari Diagono CH35S and describes a 35 mm quartz chronograph with an inverted panda dial. The model detail is useful, but it remains WatchReel’s specialist identification rather than a documented production confirmation. Time+Tide; WatchReel.
88 Minutes: a modern TAG Heuer Monaco
Time+Tide identifies a modern TAG Heuer Monaco on Pacino’s retired forensic psychiatrist character in 88 Minutes. Its description specifies a 12-hour chronograph and a linked stainless-steel bracelet. This is not the older Monaco associated with Steve McQueen in Le Mans; the shared Monaco name does not make them the same on-screen identification. Time+Tide.

Righteous Kill: a lower-confidence Tutima report
CONTÉVANOU, a Japanese authorized retailer, reported in a journal entry dated 3 May 2026 that Pacino’s character in Righteous Kill wears a Tutima F2 Chronograph. The entry draws attention to the watch in a scene, but the identification has not been independently corroborated by the other sources cited here. Treat it as a reported possibility rather than as firmly established costume information. CONTÉVANOU Journal.

Watch-ID reports two Jaeger-LeCoultre sightings in 2014: a Deep Sea Vintage Chronograph at a Venice Film Festival press conference on 4 September, and a Master Ultra Thin Réserve de Marche at a red-carpet appearance on 30 August.
