As of August 18, 2026, Xiaomi has not officially announced the Smart Band 11. There is no confirmed launch date, retail price, product page or final specification sheet. Chinese, Taiwanese and UAE regulatory records do indicate that new Xiaomi wearable hardware is being prepared, making a Smart Band 11 plausible—but certification is not the same as a retail launch.
The practical advice is simple: buy the Smart Band 10 if you need an inexpensive tracker now; wait if you already own a working band and specifically want the rumored display, recovery and charging upgrades.
Is the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 officially announced?
No. Xiaomi has not confirmed the product name, launch date, price or complete specifications in publicly available official material. “Mi Smart Band 11” is an informal continuation of the older Mi Band name; Xiaomi’s current branding is Xiaomi Smart Band.
Regulatory filings show two Xiaomi models, M2616B1 and M2617B1, received Chinese network approvals on June 5, 2026. One subsequently appeared in Taiwan documentation and the other in a UAE database. Those records support the existence of new hardware, but they do not prove that either device will be sold as Smart Band 11.

Xiaomi Smart Band 11 release date
What is confirmed
There is no official Xiaomi announcement date for China, Europe, the UK, the US or any other market.
What the regulatory timeline suggests
| Date | Record | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| June 5, 2026 | M2616B1 and M2617B1 received Chinese network approval | Hardware passed a regulatory step; retail naming and launch timing remain unknown |
| June 26, 2026 | M2616B1 appeared in Taiwan NCC documentation | International distribution is plausible, not guaranteed |
| July 8, 2026 | M2617B1 appeared in the UAE TDRA database | A second regional filing suggests wider preparation, not a confirmed sale date |
Best current expectation
Some reporting expects a launch in the second half of 2026. That is an estimate, not a commitment from Xiaomi. A China announcement, China sales date, global announcement and US availability could all occur at different times. Xiaomi’s Clue Plus promotional terms reportedly mention the product name across the UK, UAE, Taiwan, Japan and several European markets, so an international release appears plausible, but remains unconfirmed.
Expected price
No official Smart Band 11 MSRP has been published. Any figure circulating online is an estimate based on Smart Band 10 pricing or Xiaomi’s previous launch patterns.

When Xiaomi announces pricing, check the exact market and version. China, European, UK and US prices can differ because of taxes, distribution and currency. Also distinguish launch MSRP from temporary discounts, and standard hardware from an NFC edition. Imported Chinese units may have different languages, firmware, payment support, warranty coverage and return rights.
Which models may be coming?
| Model number | Possible identity | Confidence |
|---|---|---|
| M2616B1 | Standard Xiaomi Smart Band 11 | Plausible interpretation; Xiaomi has not named it publicly |
| M2617B1 | Smart Band 11 with NFC | Plausible interpretation; regional payment support is unknown |
| M2561B1 | Possible Smart Band-series or “Active” model | Speculative; cited records reportedly identify only a “Smart Band” |
The standard/NFC reading partly follows Xiaomi’s paired model-number pattern on earlier generations. It is not an official product list. Coverage of the third model is discussed by Notebookcheck, but M2561B1 should not be merged with the other two devices.
What specifications are confirmed?
| Feature | Current status |
|---|---|
| Official name, launch date and price | Not confirmed by Xiaomi |
| Battery | A Taiwan certification document reportedly indicates 233mAh for the presumed standard model |
| NFC | Plausible for M2617B1; payment networks and regional support are unknown |
| Display, sensors, sports and charging | Unconfirmed reports only |
| Global availability | Suggested by regional filings and promotional terms; not confirmed |
The reported 233mAh capacity would match the Smart Band 10’s stated capacity, so it does not establish longer endurance. Actual runtime will depend on brightness, health-monitoring frequency, workouts, notifications and firmware.
Rumored features and leaks
Reports attributed to leaks claim the following:
- A 1.78-inch display, compared with the Smart Band 10’s 1.72-inch panel.
- Up to 2,200 nits brightness, versus 1,500 nits on the predecessor.
- Heart-rate-variability (HRV) tracking, skin-temperature sensing and EDA-assisted stress measurements.
- Recovery scoring and barometric or altitude data.
- More than 200 sports modes.
- Faster charging, including one claim of roughly 10 minutes for up to three days of use.
None of these claims has been confirmed by Xiaomi. HRV, temperature, EDA, sleep, stress and recovery features should be treated as wellness tools, not medical diagnoses. More sensors also do not automatically mean better accuracy.

Smart Band 11 versus the confirmed Smart Band 10
Xiaomi’s official Smart Band 10 material lists a 1.72-inch AMOLED display, up to 1,500 nits brightness, a 60Hz refresh rate, a 9-axis sensor, AI swim-stroke detection, advanced sleep monitoring and heart-rate broadcasting. It works through Xiaomi’s Mi Fitness ecosystem and related device integrations. See the official Xiaomi overview.
| Area | Smart Band 10 (known) | Smart Band 11 (reported possibility) |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 1.72-inch AMOLED, 1,500 nits, 60Hz | Possibly 1.78 inches and 2,200 nits; unconfirmed |
| Health and recovery | Sleep monitoring and heart-rate broadcasting | Possible HRV, temperature, EDA and recovery features; unconfirmed |
| Sports | Includes AI swim-stroke detection | More than 200 modes reported; unconfirmed |
| Charging | Current-generation behavior | Faster charging reported; unconfirmed |
| Battery | 233mAh reported for Smart Band 10 | 233mAh reported for presumed standard model; endurance unknown |
The meaningful upgrade will be whether Xiaomi improves measurement quality, battery endurance, app usability and workout usefulness—not simply how many metrics appear in the specification list.
Should you buy the Smart Band 10 or wait?
Buy the Smart Band 10 now if
- You need a tracker immediately.
- You mainly want steps, sleep, notifications, heart-rate readings, basic workouts and long battery life.
- You find the current model at a substantial discount.
- You do not need NFC payments or advanced recovery metrics.
Wait for Smart Band 11 if
- Your existing band still works.
- You specifically want the rumored brighter screen, HRV, temperature, EDA or faster charging.
- You can wait without knowing the price, launch date or regional availability.
- You want to judge real-world sensor accuracy before upgrading.
Consider another brand if
- You require built-in GPS, ECG, phone-free music, stronger training analytics or a mature smartwatch app ecosystem.
- You need clearly documented contactless payments or long-term software support.
Important regional and buying caveats
NFC is not automatically contactless payment support
Even if M2617B1 contains NFC, Xiaomi must still enable the relevant payment networks, transit cards and firmware in each country. Verify local compatibility before importing a device; China-only functions may not work elsewhere.
Water resistance is not yet established
The Smart Band 10 is rated for 50-meter water resistance under ISO 22810 in Xiaomi’s Singapore specifications. That predecessor rating is not evidence for Smart Band 11. Check the new model’s official rating before swimming with it: Xiaomi Smart Band 10 specifications.

Phone compatibility is unknown
Wait for Xiaomi’s official Mi Fitness requirements rather than inferring them from older bands. For comparison only, Google lists Android 11 or newer and iOS 16.4 or newer for Fitbit Charge 6; those requirements do not apply to the unreleased Xiaomi band. See Google’s Fitbit Charge 6 page.

| Device | Why consider it | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Fitbit Charge 6 | Established health ecosystem, VO₂ max estimates, Active Zone Minutes and broader integrations; Google lists $159.95 list pricing, with a separately observed $99.95 sale price that may expire | Higher cost and Google/Fitbit ecosystem considerations |
| Garmin vívoactive 6 | Structured workouts, training data, safety features, music and up to 11 days’ battery life; Garmin announced $299.99 MSRP | Much more expensive and larger in scope than a budget band |
These are not direct price substitutes for a Xiaomi Smart Band. Choose them only if their GPS, training or app capabilities solve a requirement the Xiaomi band cannot.
What would count as an official Smart Band 11 update?
Give greatest weight to a Xiaomi product page or launch announcement that names the device, publishes regional pricing, lists specifications and states availability. Retailer listings, placeholder prices and repeated leak articles are not equivalent confirmation. Until that happens, the defensible status remains: hardware preparation is likely, but the Smart Band 11’s launch date, price and final feature set are unknown.
