How to read this 2026 watch shortlist
Not every “new” watch is new in the same way. Some are mechanical updates or revivals; others are established collections with a fresh dial, material, or bracelet. The models below are grouped by the kind of change they represent, so you can focus on the watches that suit your interests and look up current regional availability with the maker.
Watches and Wonders Geneva ran from 14 to 20 April 2026, with 65 exhibiting Maisons, according to T3’s event coverage. The event is a useful snapshot, not a complete calendar of the year’s releases. Rolex’s newsroom also lists models announced on 15 September 2026.
Rolex: a complication, a centenary, and familiar collections refreshed
1. Rolex Perpetual Padellone
The most mechanically ambitious watch on this list is a 39 mm annual-calendar model that also displays the moonphase. Rolex says its calibre 7190 shows the date, day, month, and moonphase; the date, day, and month change instantaneously at midnight, and the calendar distinguishes 30- from 31-day months. The manufacturer gives the movement approximately 66 hours of power reserve and the watch 50 metres of water resistance. Rolex describes versions in Everose gold and platinum. 2. Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41 centenary edition
This anniversary Oyster Perpetual uses yellow Rolesor, combining yellow gold and Oystersteel, but Rolex specifies an all-Oystersteel bracelet rather than the yellow-gold centre links familiar from many Rolesor bracelets. The slate dial carries “100 years,” and the crown is engraved with “100.” Rolex states 100 metres of water resistance and approximately 70 hours of reserve for calibre 3230. 3. Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36
Where the centenary 41 leans restrained, the Oyster Perpetual 36 makes its update through colour: Rolex describes a multicoloured lacquer dial decorated with its Jubilee motif. The official newsroom lists it among the 14 April releases. It is the design-led pick for someone drawn to the straightforward Oyster Perpetual format but wanting a much more conspicuous dial.
4. Rolex Datejust 41
The 2026 white Rolesor Datejust 41 pairs the established collection with a green lacquer ombré dial. This is a dial and material variation within a familiar line, rather than a new watch family. Rolex’s newsroom lists the release alongside its April novelties.
5. Rolex Yacht-Master II
The Yacht-Master II returns in a new generation with a sleeker, simplified design and improved legibility, according to Rolex. Its defining purpose is regatta timing: a countdown can be synchronized to the start sequence of a yacht race. That function distinguishes it from a conventional chronograph, which measures elapsed time after an event begins. Rolex’s release notes are in its newsroom.

Tudor: a centenary model and returning names
6. Tudor Monarch
Tudor presents the Monarch as a centenary model. T3 reports a 39 mm steel case and dark champagne dial; those specific dimensions and visual details are secondary-source reporting, so check Tudor’s current product page for the exact version and specifications. The combination points toward a classic, restrained alternative to the brighter sport watches on this list. Tudor’s official launch lineup is at Tudor’s press room.
7. Tudor Black Bay 54 “Blue”
Tudor describes the sapphire-blue Black Bay 54 as a homage to the brand’s original divers’ watch. It gives the smaller-profile dive-watch design a clear colour update. Consult the current Black Bay 54 product page for the specifications of the version available in your market rather than relying on specifications for another Black Bay variant.
8. Tudor Northflag
The Northflag returns in Tudor’s official 2026 new-watch lineup, framed by the brand as “The return of an adventurous spirit.” The launch listing establishes the model’s return, but not enough technical detail to responsibly compare its dimensions or movement here. Treat it as a name to investigate further, and consult Tudor’s press room for current product information.
Chronographs and skeletonized designs
9. TAG Heuer Monaco Evergraph
T3 reports a 40 mm Monaco Evergraph with a new compliant chronograph mechanism. In T3’s event report, the mechanism uses a single governing start/stop and reset component; the publication also reports black or natural titanium versions. Those are reported details, not a complete manufacturer specification. The appeal is the combination of the square Monaco case and a mechanically distinctive chronograph approach. 10. Zenith Chronomaster Sport Skeleton
T3 reports a 41 mm skeletonized dial and four versions, including steel and rose-gold cases. The open dial is the central change, putting the movement on display within the Chronomaster Sport design. No broader “first” claim is needed to explain what makes it notable. The reported launch details appear in T3’s event coverage.
11. Hermès H08 skeleton
T3 calls this the first-ever skeleton H08. That gives the sporty H08 line a more movement-forward, design-led option. 12. Cartier Baignoire with Clou de Paris treatment
Wallpaper reports that the bangle-bracelet Baignoire receives Clou de Paris, a textured motif, across the bracelet’s length. The update is a surface and design treatment on an existing watch family, not a new Cartier collection. The detail is reported by Wallpaper’s Watches and Wonders coverage.
13. Cartier Santos-Dumont with mesh bracelet
Wallpaper reports a new large Santos-Dumont in yellow gold with a fine mesh bracelet, and cites 394 individual links. That link count is a secondary-source detail, not a definitive Cartier specification here. Jewellery watch and classic-dress alternatives
14. Grand Seiko “Red Lion” Spring Drive 8-Day Jewellery Watch
T3 reports an 18 ct rose-gold case measuring 44.5 mm, with 267 diamonds and 26 garnets on the bezel. Grand Seiko’s official 2026 event product coverage confirms the release, while those dimensions and gem counts are reported by T3. It is the most overtly jewellery-led choice here, and its stated case size is substantial; consider both the scale and the gem-set styling before comparing it with more understated watches. 15. Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronometre
T3 reports a new Master Control Chronometre collection at Watches and Wonders. It provides a classic, dress-oriented counterpoint to the skeleton watches, dive-watch updates, and conspicuous jewellery pieces in this selection. Choosing which releases merit a closer look
Start with the change that matters to you rather than the launch headline. If you want a substantial mechanical complication, investigate the Padellone’s annual calendar and moonphase. For a familiar daily-wear design with a visibly different dial, compare the Oyster Perpetual 36 and Datejust 41. If a model’s return is the draw, the Monarch and Northflag are worth checking against Tudor’s live lineup. For a sportier or more technical visual character, consider the Yacht-Master II, Monaco Evergraph, Chronomaster Sport Skeleton, or H08 skeleton.
For any candidate, confirm the exact reference, case dimensions, movement, water resistance, price, and availability on the manufacturer’s current regional product page. A launch announcement may describe a family or showcase version without settling every detail for every market; secondary reports are useful for discovery but should not be mistaken for the maker’s complete specification.
