The seller page displayed a price of $99.99 when checked; price, stock, kit contents and fit can change, so confirm them on the seller’s product page before buying. That listing is a seller’s claim, not independent evidence of material quality or ease of installation.
“Genta levels up to 11” works as playful shorthand for the stronger octagonal metal-watch aesthetic. It should not be read as an authorship claim: Casio’s account of the GA-2100’s design lineage points to its DW-5000 and AW-500, not to Gérald Genta. The first GA-2100 arrived in 2019, according to Casio’s 2100-series history.
Can you put a metal case and bracelet on a GA-2100?
Aftermarket conversions are sold for the GA-2100, but a kit is not automatically compatible with every watch whose model number begins with 2100. Check the seller’s exact compatibility list against the reference on your watch, and confirm whether the bracelet is included or sold separately. The specialist seller describes its bezel as designed for the GA-2100 and says installation tools are included; those statements do not establish fit for every variant or guarantee a straightforward installation.

Casio lists the GA-2100-4A as a carbon/resin watch with a resin band and Carbon Core Guard construction. The listed factory model measures 48.5 × 45.4 × 11.8 mm and weighs 51 g. Its specifications include shock resistance, mineral glass and 200-meter water resistance. Does a GA-2100 metal mod keep its water resistance?
The factory GA-2100-4A is rated for 200-meter water resistance, but that rating does not establish the performance of a modified watch. The sources available do not provide a post-modification water-resistance test or rating for the aftermarket conversion. Do not assume that an altered watch retains the original rating; ask the seller or a qualified watch technician about the specific kit and have the watch pressure-tested if water exposure matters.

Aftermarket CasiOak mod or factory metal G-SHOCK?
Casio also sells metal-covered members of the 2100 family. The distinction is more than the material visible from the outside: Casio describes the GM-2100 as using a stainless-steel bezel with a glass-fibre-reinforced resin inner case to protect the module in a metal-clad, shock-resistant structure. That documented construction should not be assumed for an aftermarket bezel fitted to a GA-2100. Casio’s GM-2100 product information describes the factory model.

Those details make the GM-2100/GM-2110 route the clearer choice if you want a factory metal-covered watch with documented Casio construction. A mod is the alternative if you specifically want to transform a GA-2100 you already own and accept the fit and performance uncertainty of third-party parts.
