Czapek introduced the Promenade at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024: a 38 mm, time-only collection that pairs a dress-oriented presentation with an asymmetrical dial and decorative techniques. Its first three versions were the grand feu enamel Goutte d’eau and the Guilloche Ivoire and Guilloche Bleu Nuit. The event also brought two Antarctique novelties, including a meteorite-dial model reported limited to 100 pieces.
What Czapek unveiled at Watches and Wonders 2024
The headline launch was Promenade, a new collection Czapek described with the phrase “Simplicity, style, substance and joy.” Its defining feature is an asymmetrical dial whose layout radiates from the small-seconds register at 4:30. The event presentation positioned the slim, time-only watch as a more relaxed, dress-oriented expression than the brand’s sporty Antarctique. Watches and Wonders Geneva’s Czapek page calls out the dial’s asymmetry and the collection’s design intent.
The initial lineup reported at launch comprised three 38 mm stainless-steel models: Promenade Goutte d’eau, Guilloche Ivoire and Guilloche Bleu Nuit. The contrast is chiefly in the dial: enamel with a water-ripple effect for Goutte d’eau, or a modern sunray guilloché treatment for the two Guilloche models. How the Promenade Goutte d’eau dial works
Grand feu enamel and the “drops of water” effect
Goutte d’eau means “drops of water.” The event page describes its grand feu enamel dial as evoking ripples spreading outward from a drop falling onto a pond. The effect gives the dial visual movement while preserving the collection’s central asymmetry: the small-seconds display at 4:30 serves as the point from which the composition radiates. Czapek names Donzé Cadrans as its dial-creation partner, and the event page presents Goutte d’eau in Sapphire Blue.

The two sunray guilloché versions
Guilloche Ivoire and Guilloche Bleu Nuit use cut guilloché sunrays that WatchGecko describes as a modern sunray treatment. Their rays also extend from the small-seconds register, connecting the dial decoration to the Promenade’s signature layout. WatchGecko reports an ivory-coloured alloy dial for the Ivoire version; the Bleu Nuit name identifies the darker blue option.
Movement and reported specifications
The official event page identifies the in-house SXH5 calibre as the movement inside Promenade and notes that Czapek originally developed it for the Antarctique. WatchGecko’s launch account reports micro-rotor winding, a 4 Hz frequency and a 60-hour power reserve for the collection. These are launch-reported specifications, not independent test results. The article specifies calibre SXH5.1 for the Guilloche models.

All three prices are historical launch figures published by WatchGecko on 8 April 2024, not current offers. The same article forecast shipping from Q2 2025; that was a forecast at the time, not confirmation of present availability.
How Promenade differs from the Antarctique
The shared SXH5 lineage links Promenade to the Antarctique technically, but their presentations serve different styles. Promenade is the slimmer, time-only, dress-oriented collection in this launch; the Antarctique is the sporting line from which the calibre originated. The event’s two reported Antarctique novelties emphasized more overtly distinctive dials:

WatchGecko’s event-era account lists both Antarctique models at CHF 23,000, with a 40.5 mm steel case and SXH5 movement. Those are reported 2024 launch details, not current prices or a statement of current production status. Promenade and Antarctique are distinct collections rather than direct substitutes; the useful comparison is their styling and dial treatment.
Launch pricing and where to check availability
WatchGecko reported launch prices of €18,900 for Goutte d’eau and €18,000 for either Guilloche version. Those figures should be read as launch-era context only: no current price or inventory is established here. For a present-day stock check or an in-person try-on, use Czapek’s official website and its retailer network. Czapek also directs customers there for repair and overhaul service.

What makes the debut significant
Promenade’s defining idea is not simply a new case style: it applies a decorative, expressive dial language to an asymmetrical, time-only watch. Grand feu enamel gives Goutte d’eau its ripple-inspired surface, while the two guilloché models turn the same 4:30 seconds register into the origin of radiating sunrays. That combination distinguishes the launch from the sporty Antarctique, even as it carries over a movement family developed for that collection.
