Its standout behind-the-scenes feature was TAG Heuer’s first standalone booth at the event, where the brand presented its TAG Heuer LAB and the Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph Air 1. The examples below are selected launches, not a complete catalogue.
When and where Dubai Watch Week 2025 took place
The event ran for five days, from 19 to 23 November 2025, across Dubai Mall and Burj Park. The Dubai Media Office reported more than 90 participating watch brands and over 20 brand launches. Those are the government office’s event figures; the brand count is not a count of launches or a published attendance total. Dubai Media Office’s 20 November 2025 report also cited more than 23,000 guests at the 2023 edition, a historical comparison rather than a figure for 2025.
Ahmed Seddiqi, the event’s founder and host retailer, described the 2025 site as a 200,000-square-foot venue and said it welcomed 46% more exhibiting brands. These are figures published by Ahmed Seddiqi, not independently audited measures. Ahmed Seddiqi’s event retrospective presents the expansion as a major change in setting and scale.
What happened beyond the launch floor
Dubai Watch Week was not simply a display floor for new watches. The Dubai Media Office characterized it as a non-commercial platform for cultural exchange, networking and community engagement. The program included talks, masterclasses, workshops and collector activities, giving visitors ways to engage with watchmaking as well as view new releases.

Forums, workshops and collectors
Ahmed Seddiqi’s event page describes the Horology Forum, Creative Hub workshops and masterclasses, and a Collectors Lounge. The host’s retrospective identifies these as parts of the event’s broader offering. Vogue Arabia’s pre-event guide also listed hands-on workshops, a Rapport London watch-winder session and Bonhams as official auction-house partner; because that guide appeared before the fair, it establishes planned program items rather than confirming each session took place. Behind the scenes: TAG Heuer LAB and the Air 1
TAG Heuer’s retrospective says Dubai Watch Week 2025 marked the brand’s first standalone booth at the event and the regional debut of TAG Heuer LAB. The booth put materials and engineering in the foreground: TAG Heuer described visitors encountering its TH-Titanium and TH-Carbonspring technologies. Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph Air 1
The technical centerpiece was the Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph Air 1, unveiled on 19 November, according to T3’s event coverage. T3 reports a titanium case made using Selective Laser Melting (SLM), a skeletonized dial and the Calibre TH81-00 movement. TAG Heuer’s own account adds that Grade 5 titanium powder was fused into a honeycombed structure. The manufacturing and material details here reflect those attributed reports, rather than a broader claim about the performance of SLM or the watch. The official event count was more than 20 brand launches, but the available event coverage does not establish a definitive, exhaustive list. These representative releases show the range, from a technical TAG Heuer showcase to collection variations and commemorative editions.

The seventh Dubai Watch Week also coincided with two anniversaries: the fair’s tenth anniversary and Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons’ 75th anniversary, as reported by WatchTime. The anniversary context helps explain why commemorative editions featured in the program, while the expanded venue and TAG Heuer LAB gave the week a broader focus on how watches are made and presented.

At the event, Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Arts and Culture Authority, called it “a global platform where creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation converge.” Hind Seddiqi, CEO of Dubai Watch Week, said the event aimed to evolve its offering and attract global audiences. These are statements of the organizers’ and public officials’ ambitions, rather than independent evaluations of the event. The remarks were reported by the Dubai Media Office on 20 November 2025.
