It offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth syncing, 16 advertised health metrics, and household-user features; whether it is a good buy depends on your region’s price and how much you value those app features.
How accurate is the Eufy P3 scale?
There are two different accuracy questions: how closely the scale measures your weight, and how accurately it estimates body composition. Eufy’s published figures address the first. The available sources do not establish the second with P3-specific clinical validation or a quantified error rate.
Anker Japan lists the following weight-measurement specifications for the P3. They are manufacturer specifications, not results from independent testing.

Body-fat readings are estimates, not a clinical result
The P3 uses bioelectrical impedance to produce body-composition metrics. Eufy’s Europe product page advertises 16 health stats, including body-fat percentage and heart rate, and says readings sync to a phone. A metric appearing in the app does not by itself show how close it is to a clinical reference measurement. The available P3-specific sources do not provide a clinical validation result or a quantified error rate for these composition estimates. Eufy’s [support index for the P3](https://service.eufy.com/product-description/a085g000004zMokAAE/smart-scale-p3%3Fref%3DHome_Page) lists a FAQ asking whether body-fat percentage is accurate or an approximation, but the index does not answer it.
For practical use, treat body-composition results as estimates that may be more useful for observing a pattern over time than as definitive measurements. The sources here do not establish how close an individual P3 reading is to a clinical result.

What the P3 includes, and why regional specs matter
Eufy’s Europe product page lists model T9150, dimensions of 325 × 325 × 26 mm, a maximum capacity of 200 kg, four AAA batteries, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth data transfer, and 16 health metrics. Anker Japan gives a different stated measurement range: 3–150 kg. These are region-specific published specifications, so do not combine the Japanese range with the European capacity as if they were one universally stated limit.
The scale sends readings to the EufyLife app over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, according to [eufy Europe’s product page](https://www.eufy.com/eu-en/products/t9150111). The advertised metric count is a feature claim, not a guarantee that every metric is independently verified or equally useful. Check the product listing for your country for the capacity and connectivity details that apply there.

How household user detection works
Anker Japan’s FAQ describes adding family users and automatically assigning a measurement to the user whose stored weight is closest, within ±3 kg. That matching rule can be convenient in a household, but similar weights may make automatic identification less dependable.
In its July 22, 2025 review, Tom’s Guide reported that user detection failed during its testing. That is one reviewer’s experience at that time, not proof that detection always fails or a guarantee of current app behavior. The reviewer also found the onboard controls frustrating, said Apple Health and Fitbit were the available integrations, and noted an app prompt encouraging daily weigh-ins. Is the Eufy P3 a good value?
The product’s value cannot be settled by its published specifications alone. The available information does not establish a current, universal price: availability and listings vary by country, and a regional price can change. Compare the price where you live with what matters to you—weight tracking, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth syncing, the advertised metric set, and household sharing—rather than treating “fair price” as a fixed fact.
- Consider it if: you want a connected scale with published weight tolerances and multiple app-tracked metrics, and you are comfortable treating body-composition figures as estimates.
- Look more closely before buying if: you need independently validated body-fat measurements, dependable automatic assignment among users with similar weights, or a particular health-platform integration.
To compare smart scales fairly, separate the evidence: published weight tolerances are not the same as independently tested repeatability, and neither establishes the accuracy of body-composition estimates. Also compare the app ecosystem and household handling, then check current local pricing and specifications.
