Black Bay 58 in burgundy
The new Black Bay 58 uses a 39 mm steel case with a matching burgundy dial and bezel. It is METAS Master Chronometer certified: TUDOR says fully assembled watches are tested by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
Buyers can choose a three-link bracelet, a five-link bracelet with T-fit clasp or a rubber strap. The design draws on the proportions of the 1950s Black Bay 58 and the 1990s TUDOR Submariner Ref. 79190 prototype. Japanese launch prices were ¥633,600 on three-link, ¥649,000 on five-link and ¥602,800 on rubber.
Black Bay 68
The Black Bay 68 adds a new 43 mm Black Bay case size and comes in two colour variants. Its clean-sided steel bracelet deliberately avoids the vintage rivet-style treatment used on some other Black Bay models.
#1 Best Overall
- 41mm steel case with polished and satin finish
- Bidirectional rotatable bezel in steel with 24-hour graduated anodised aluminium disc
- Self-winding mechanical movement with 70 hour power reserve
Manufacture calibre MT5601-U supplies approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The launch release describes resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss and METAS Master Chronometer certification. The Japanese launch price was ¥663,300 on a three-link steel bracelet.
Black Bay Pro with opaline dial
The 2025 Black Bay Pro keeps the established 39 mm case, fixed steel 24-hour bezel and Manufacture calibre MT5652 with an integrated GMT function. Its defining update is an opaline dial with high-contrast details and black-edged ceramic hour markers intended to improve legibility.
Japanese launch pricing was ¥618,200 on a three-link steel bracelet, or ¥572,000 on either a fabric strap or a leather-and-rubber hybrid strap. This is a GMT watch, not a new time-only variant.

- Tudor Pelagos Chronometer Black Dial Titanium Men's Watch M25600TN-0001
Pelagos Ultra
The Pelagos Ultra is the most technically depth-oriented launch, with a 43 mm titanium case and a stated water-resistance rating of 1,000 metres. It is METAS Master Chronometer certified and uses blue and green luminous elements.
TUDOR redesigned the bracelet around a patented adjustment system. The watch is supplied with a titanium bracelet and an additional black rubber strap. Its Japanese launch price was ¥839,300.
Black Bay Chrono
The 2025 Black Bay Chrono has a redesigned 41 mm steel case and two dial choices: matte black or opaline, each with contrasting sub-counters. Its automatic Manufacture chronograph movement uses a column wheel and vertical clutch, with a 45-minute counter and a date display at 6 o’clock.
Rank #3
- Date Feature at 3 O'Clock with Even Numbered Days Displayed in Red and Odd Numbered Days in Black
- Tudor Caliber MT5612-LHD (COSC), Self-winding Automatic Chronometer Movement
- Titanium Screw Down Crown, Helium Escape Valve at 3 O'Clock and 70 Hour Power Reserve
- Titanium Bracelet with Steel Folding Clasp and Safety Catch and Bracelet Extension System
- Titanium Unidirectional Rotatable Bezel with Ceramic Matte Black Disc and 60 Minute Scale with Beige Luminescent Coating
It is offered with either a three-link rivet-style bracelet or a five-link steel bracelet; both use T-fit clasps. The Japanese launch price for the five-link configuration was ¥831,600. TUDOR positioned the release as a 50th-anniversary celebration of its first chronograph, introduced in 1970.

Choose the Black Bay 58 for a compact heritage diver
At 39 mm, the burgundy Black Bay 58 is the smallest of the new divers and combines vintage-inspired proportions with METAS certification. The three bracelet and strap options let you prioritize a traditional steel look, the five-link T-fit setup or lower weight and flexibility on rubber.
Choose the Black Bay 68 for a larger certified diver
The 43 mm Black Bay 68 is the larger steel alternative to the 58. It adds the MT5601-U calibre’s approximately 70-hour reserve and stated 15,000-gauss magnetic resistance, while retaining a straightforward three-link bracelet.

- Tudor Ranger Automatic Black Dial Men's Stainless Steel Watch M79950-0001
Choose the Black Bay Pro for travel
The Black Bay Pro is the only 2025 launch in this group built around a GMT complication. Its fixed 24-hour bezel and 39 mm case make it the travel-focused tool watch, while the opaline dial is the visual change for 2025.
Choose the Pelagos Ultra for maximum dive depth
With a 1,000 m rating, titanium construction and a technical bracelet-adjustment system, the Pelagos Ultra is the specialist choice for depth capability rather than a vintage look.
Choose the Black Bay Chrono for timing events
The Black Bay Chrono is the motorsport-oriented option. Its column-wheel, vertical-clutch chronograph, contrasting sub-counters and 45-minute register distinguish it from the diver and GMT releases.
