FamilyMart’s Citizen-co-developed watch returned to Japanese stores on a rolling basis from September 18, 2026, at the same announced price as its first release: ¥1,998 including tax. The online lottery entry period closed September 28, so that route is no longer open; the sources reviewed do not confirm whether any stores still have stock.
What the watch is—and what FamilyMart says about its first release
FamilyMart describes the product simply as a wristwatch, co-developed with Citizen Watch Co., Ltd. It comes in white (“shiro”) or black (“kuro”), in one size. FamilyMart says the original April 2026 release was almost sold out within about 10 days. The company did not publish a unit count or sell-through percentage, so “almost sold out” is its qualitative claim, not a precise sales statistic. FamilyMart’s September announcement refers to the April launch; the original announcement dated the national launch for April 17.

FamilyMart says its signature colors appear on details including the second hand, strap holes and buckle pin. Its releases do not state a model number, movement, case dimensions or battery life. The September product announcement gives the price and product details.
How the second release worked
The September return had two announced channels: a sequential rollout to FamilyMart stores in Japan beginning September 18, and a Famima Online lottery. The lottery accepted applications from September 18 at 10:00 through September 28, 2026, at 23:59. Selected customers were scheduled to collect purchases from October 9 through October 22. The application window has ended; the scheduled collection dates do not mean new online entries are available. FamilyMart’s release sets out the dates and channels.

Can you still buy it?
As of October 3, 2026, the announced online lottery was closed, and current store inventory was not established by the available announcements. The store rollout does not prove that a particular branch—or any branch—still has the watch. Check directly with a nearby FamilyMart or FamilyMart’s official channels for current availability before making a trip. The company said its wider autumn/winter Convenience Wear collection would reach approximately 16,500 stores; that collection-wide figure is not confirmation that the watch was stocked at every one of them. FamilyMart’s materials establish the two dial-color options but do not describe a performance difference between them. Choose by appearance and preference; the published specifications do not support treating one color as a different model or as having different capabilities.
