Four unique, gem-set Rolex Cosmograph Daytonas raised £37.3 million at Phillips in London, with all proceeds going to the Federer Foundation and Re:wild. The watches were sold individually; Phillips describes the consignment as the largest ever to a charity auction. Four seasonal Daytonas raised £37.3 million for charity
Phillips’ results, posted on 28 September 2026, list £10.3 million for Summer, £10.2 million for Autumn, £10 million for Winter and £6.8 million for Spring. Together, the four individually sold watches brought in £37.3 million—roughly US$50 million. Phillips says the auction was organized in partnership with Rolex and that all proceeds benefit the Federer Foundation and Re:wild. The auction house also says the buyer’s premium did not apply to this sale.
Phillips characterizes the consignment as the largest ever to a charity auction. That is the auction house’s description of the consignment, rather than a claim here about the largest charity-auction total across all categories. Phillips Senior Consultant Aurel Bacs called the sale “a historic moment for the world of watchmaking.”
How the four watches differ

Phillips also lists diamond-set lugs and crown guards and calibre 4131 for each watch. These are one-off charity-auction pieces, not regular retail variations of the Daytona.
Nomos’s seventh Forum: a black-dial World Timer
In a separate part of its 2 October 2026 roundup, Time+Tide reports from Nomos’s seventh annual Forum in Glashütte. The publication describes the gathering as bringing together media, creators and retailers for watch previews and industry discussions, with around 70 guests at this event.

Time+Tide identifies a black-dial World Timer as the main announcement. Its report describes a luminous home-time sub-dial and an outer city ring. It does not give an exact reference or retail availability, so the announcement cannot be tied to a specific purchasable model from the details reported.

The publication reports an instantaneous annual calendar, moonphase display and 5Hz Dynapulse escapement, and says calibre 7190 is associated with 30 patent applications.
