No—Fitbit smartwatches have not disappeared from Google’s U.S. Store. The current category still lists Fitbit Versa 4 and Sense 2, along with Charge 6, Inspire 3 and Ace LTE. However, Google now prominently presents the Pixel Watch 5 as its main smartwatch, in 41 mm and 45 mm sizes. The practical choice is therefore between a full Google smartwatch, a Fitbit-branded watch or tracker, and Google’s screenless Fitbit Air—not between Pixel Watch and a discontinued Fitbit line.
Are Fitbit smartwatches discontinued?
Google’s current U.S. Store lineup says no. Versa 4 and Sense 2 remain listed beside Pixel Watch 5, while Charge 6, Inspire 3 and Ace LTE are also present. A comparison search result additionally names Luxe, but the comparison page redirects to a region picker, so detailed specifications or availability for that model cannot be confirmed here.
Listings are not proof that every model is in stock or sold in every country. Google’s U.S. category should not be treated as a worldwide catalog, and the available evidence does not establish current regional prices, inventory or release plans.
Is Pixel Watch replacing Fitbit?
Pixel Watch is becoming Google’s prominently featured smartwatch, but that is different from replacing every Fitbit product. Pixel Watch 5 supplies the watch-style experience: a round display, Google apps and watch connectivity. Fitbit remains the name attached to several watches and trackers, including Versa 4, Sense 2 and Charge 6. Google Fitbit Air extends the range in the opposite direction as a screenless wellness tracker.

What Google lists for Pixel Watch 5
- Sizes: 41 mm and 45 mm.
- Display: Actua 360, with up to 3,000 nits peak brightness.
- Battery claim: up to 40 hours with always-on display.
- Connectivity: Wi-Fi and LTE options are listed.
- Software: a full suite of Google apps.

Those figures and features are Google’s published specifications, not independent measurements. “Up to 40 hours” is a manufacturer claim under its stated configuration; actual endurance depends on settings, connectivity and use.
Which Fitbit watches and trackers are still available?
Fitbit Versa 4 and Sense 2
Both watches remain named on Google’s current U.S. category page. The accessible listing does not establish complete current specifications, prices or stock for either model, so they should not be assumed to match Pixel Watch 5 feature-for-feature.

Fitbit Charge 6
Charge 6 is a band-style tracker with an AMOLED display. Google lists up to seven days of battery life, Bluetooth notifications, Google Wallet and Google Maps, plus Android and iOS compatibility. The seven-day figure is a manufacturer claim, not a measured endurance result.
Google Fitbit Air
Fitbit Air is screenless, so it is a health and wellness tracker rather than a smartwatch with on-device apps. Google lists Bluetooth connectivity, Android and iOS compatibility, and up to seven days of battery life. Without a display, it cannot provide the same glanceable maps, notifications or app experience as Pixel Watch 5.
Rank #3

- Cardio load measures how hard your heart works so you can see how hard you’ve pushed; compare trends to see if you’re under- or over-training[3]
Other listed Fitbit products
Inspire 3 and Ace LTE also appear in the category. Their presence confirms that Fitbit products remain in Google’s wearable range, but the available listing does not provide enough detail here to make a fair specification comparison.

- You do not need on-device apps, maps or watch notifications.
Consider Versa 4 or Sense 2 only after checking live availability
They are still listed, but the current evidence does not establish their stock, regional support or full specifications. Check the product page for your country before treating either as a direct Pixel Watch 5 alternative.

What this means for Fitbit’s future
Google’s lineup points to a divided strategy: Pixel Watch carries the flagship smartwatch role, while Fitbit-branded products continue to cover tracker and wellness-watch categories. That makes the headline “Fitbit smartwatches are history” inaccurate for the current U.S. Store, even though Pixel Watch is clearly the product Google emphasizes when it presents a modern smartwatch.
