In June 2019, five Fossil Group smartwatch model numbers appeared in FCC-related records, pointing to upcoming Wear OS watches across four fashion labels: Fossil, Michael Kors, Emporio Armani and Diesel. The filings showed Bluetooth and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi support and provided Wear OS clues, but they were regulatory evidence—not a retail launch announcement or a complete specification sheet.
Which five watches appeared in the filings?
A report published on June 19, 2019 identified five model numbers. The brand assignments below are strong inferences from Fossil Group’s model-number conventions, rather than confirmed retail names.

| Model number | Likely brand | What the identifier suggests |
|---|---|---|
| DW10F1 | Fossil | The F suffix points to Fossil. |
| DW10M1 | Michael Kors | The M suffix points to Michael Kors. |
| DW10M2 | Michael Kors | A second Michael Kors variant; the filing did not establish how it differed from DW10M1. |
| DW10E1 | Emporio Armani | The E suffix points to Emporio Armani. |
| DW10D1 | Diesel | The D suffix points to Diesel. |
That is five devices across four brands—not four watches. Contemporary coverage identified the model numbers and inferred the brands from the suffix pattern; see the June 19, 2019 report.
What did the FCC evidence establish?
The report described Bluetooth and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi support. Wear OS was visible in device menus and labeling shown with the filing material. The documents also pointed to a shared underlying platform, with apparent differences in external design and antenna placement.

FCC-related radio filings are useful evidence that a device is being tested for communications compliance in the United States. They do not announce that a product is on sale, guarantee that it will reach stores, or establish its release date. A filing can precede a launch and may cover variants that are delayed or never sold.
What remained unknown at the time?
The FCC appearance did not settle the watches’ final retail names, prices or launch timing. Nor did the June report confirm the processor, battery capacity, LTE, health sensors, GPS, water resistance, payment support or software-support lifespan. FCC documentation is not a substitute for a full product specification sheet.
The two Michael Kors model numbers likely represented different case, size or design variants, but the filing did not identify the distinction. Likewise, DW10F1 and the other regulatory identifiers should not be treated as confirmed retail names.

At the time, the processor was an open question. The June report did not confirm Snapdragon Wear 3100. Later that year, Fossil Group announced its next-generation smartwatch products and identified Snapdragon Wear 3100 as the platform for that 2019 generation. The timing and brand overlap make the DW10 watches strongly associated with Fossil’s Gen 5-era product wave, but that later announcement does not prove a one-to-one mapping between each DW10 identifier and a particular retail watch.

Later 2019 announcements named products including Michael Kors Access Lexington 2, Bradshaw 2 and MKGO; Diesel Axial; and Emporio Armani Smartwatch 3. These names establish what Fossil Group announced for the broader product cycle, not which specific DW10 number corresponded to each watch. Fossil Group’s IFA 2019 announcement described features for that generation including a built-in speaker, more memory and storage, battery modes and Google Assistant support. Those are later family-level details, not specifications demonstrated by the original FCC report for every DW10 variant.
Why did several labels share a platform?
Fossil Group developed watches for its own label and for licensed fashion brands. Its 2019 annual filing says its full-display smartwatches used Google’s Wear OS and lists Diesel, Emporio Armani and Michael Kors among its licensed brands. That business model makes a shared electronics and software platform across labels plausible: a common technical base can support distinct cases, straps, watch faces and branding. Shared internals do not mean the watches were identical in appearance or features. The company’s 2019 annual filing provides that corporate context.
What does this mean for buyers now?
These are historical products, not current Wear OS recommendations. A Fossil Gen 5 LTE listing on the U.S. Fossil site showed $349 and out of stock when checked on August 18, 2026; that is a listing snapshot, not evidence of broad availability for the DW10 watches. Older Fossil models may turn up through outlet, refurbished or secondhand channels, but their presence does not establish current support or suitability as a modern smartwatch. Wear OS compatibility and features can also vary by watch generation and phone, so check the relevant device-specific support information rather than projecting current guidance backward onto every 2019 model. Fossil’s Wear OS information page is a starting point, not proof of ongoing support for these particular watches.
If considering one used, verify that its charger is included, the battery is healthy, it can be paired with your phone, and any previous account pairing has been removed. Confirm what software support you can realistically expect before buying.
