It measures the watch at 12.60 mm thick and characterizes the overall package as a contemporary traveler’s watch. Those are review observations, while TAG Heuer’s own product specifications remain the reference for the formal technical data.

Movement and reserve
The largest practical difference is autonomy away from the wrist. WDA2114’s TH31-03 provides an 80-hour reserve, compared with 42 hours for the older Calibre 7 reference. The newer watch can therefore sit through a longer weekend without stopping, assuming it was fully wound before removal.
Caseback and visual identity
The current model’s sapphire caseback offers a view into the movement and is associated with a Victory Wreath engraving. WBN201A uses a steel caseback. The dial also changes from the older model’s blue sunray finish to the current reference’s teal sunray treatment.

Thickness and wearing profile
The newer specification is 12.6 mm, only 0.30 mm thicker than the older reference’s stated 12.30 mm. That small difference should not be treated as a decisive size change; both remain 41 mm steel watches with a modern sports-watch presence.

TAG Heuer’s regional product page marks the blue WBN201A.BA0640 as “This product is discontinued.” That status applies to that exact reference, not necessarily to every blue Carrera or every Twin-Time watch. Availability and resale listings should therefore be checked by the full reference number.

- Choose WDA2114.BA0043 if you want the current catalog model, the TH31-03 movement, an 80-hour power reserve, a teal dial and a sapphire caseback.
