TUDOR announced the Black Bay Chrono Flamingo Blue on January 17, 2025. It is a 41 mm stainless-steel chronograph, reference 79360N, distinguished by a vivid turquoise-toned dial, black counters and a fixed black tachymetric bezel. TUDOR pairs it with its MT5813 manufacture chronograph movement and a five-link steel bracelet with a T-fit adjustment clasp.
What is the Flamingo Blue Black Bay Chrono?
This is a new dial-color version of TUDOR’s established Black Bay Chrono design, rather than a different case or chronograph architecture. TUDOR calls the shade “Flamingo Blue” and describes it as inspired by tropical water. The name does not refer to flamingo plumage. In its January 17, 2025 launch article, the brand connected the color to South Beach, Miami, and said: “Nothing about a blue flamingo blends in, and that’s why the new Black Bay Chrono model was born to stand out.” That is TUDOR’s styling rationale, not an independent assessment of the watch’s reception.
The model was presented as a companion to the pink-dial Black Bay Chrono released in 2024. The available launch material does not establish that Flamingo Blue is limited, more difficult to obtain, or more desirable than the Pink version.
Case, dial and bracelet
TUDOR’s product sheet identifies the watch as reference 79360N. Its 41 mm case is made from 316L stainless steel with polished and satin-brushed finishes. A fixed steel bezel holds a black anodized-aluminium insert with a silver-marked tachymetric scale. The screw-down crown and pushers, domed sapphire crystal and domed dial complete the specification.

The bright blue dial is contrasted by black chronograph counters. The layout includes central hours, minutes and chronograph seconds, a 45-minute counter at 3 o’clock, small seconds at 9 o’clock and an instantaneous date at 6 o’clock. On the five-link steel bracelet, a T-fit clasp allows rapid adjustment.
MT5813 movement and published specifications
TUDOR specifies the self-winding Manufacture Calibre MT5813, with a bidirectional rotor and official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) certification. The company lists approximately 70 hours of power reserve; that is a published specification, not an independently measured result. It also specifies a variable-inertia balance with screw micro-adjustment, a silicon balance spring, a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour (4 Hz), 41 jewels and movement dimensions of 30.4 mm by 7.23 mm.

How much did it cost at launch?
A German-language PR-International press release dated January 17, 2025 listed a suggested retail price of €5,930 for the 41 mm steel-bracelet configuration. That is a regional launch-era figure, not a verified current price or a universal price across markets. Check TUDOR or a local authorized retailer for current pricing and availability.

The same launch release reproduced TUDOR’s stated accuracy of −2 to +4 seconds per day. This is the brand’s stated figure, not a guarantee of an individual watch’s measured real-world performance.

TUDOR frames the Black Bay Chrono as a meeting of its chronograph tradition and professional-diver watch history. Its launch article traces the brand’s first chronograph, the Oysterdate, to 1970 and its professional diving-watch history to 1954. The press release links the current model’s 45-minute counter and date at 6 o’clock to early TUDOR chronographs. These are the manufacturer’s historical connections and design framing.
