At launch, the collection comprised steel, plain-bezel rose-gold and diamond-bezel rose-gold versions; the reported euro prices below are 2024 launch figures, not current quotes.
What changed for 2024?
In its April 11, 2024 launch report, Fratello described a redesigned case with longer, thinner lugs, subtle dial refinements and a longer-running movement. The display and calendar functions remained substantially the same. Fratello also noted layered bevels around the dial windows, slimmer applied hour markers and a red warning aperture above the hands; these are the publication’s design observations, not findings from an independent hands-on review.
The headline mechanical change was the power reserve: the previous 38-hour figure rose to 70 hours. Jaeger-LeCoultre says the latest generation of Calibre 868 achieves this “without adding to the thickness of the calibre.” The official steel model specification gives the movement a thickness of 4.72 mm.

The specification page cited here is for steel reference Q114842J; Fratello reported the same central 39 mm by 9.2 mm case dimensions and Calibre 868 across the three 2024 variants.

References, dial descriptions and prices are from Fratello’s April 11, 2024 report. It described a black alligator strap and folding clasp across the range. These are historical euro launch prices; current prices, regional taxes, stock and resale values are not established here.
How the perpetual calendar works—and what the red window means
The calendar displays the day, date, month, year and moon phase. Jaeger-LeCoultre says the mechanism accounts for different month lengths and leap years and does not require manual correction until 2100, when the centenary year is not a leap year under the Gregorian calendar.

Fratello describes the red aperture as a security zone indicating a period when setting the watch could damage the movement. If you own the watch, follow Jaeger-LeCoultre’s model-specific instructions for setting or adjusting the calendar. Do not infer a safe adjustment time or correction procedure from the dial alone.

Jaeger-LeCoultre says its 1,000 Hour Control includes “internal certification tests that far exceed official chronometry tests.” This is the manufacturer’s description of its own testing program, not an independent certification finding.
