Fossil made two limited-edition Marvel watches for The Fantastic Four: First Steps: the 32 mm Marvel x Fossil Fantastic Four Digi-Calc Watch (LE1210SET), an analogue-and-LCD replica of Reed Richards’ wrist computer, and a 48 mm Galactus watch with a luminous three-hand dial. Fossil says both editions are sold out through its official collection page.

Marvel x Fossil Fantastic Four Digi-Calc Watch (LE1210SET)
A prop-style Reed Richards design
This is the more literal film tie-in. Fossil describes the 32 mm watch as an authentic replica of Reed Richards’ retro-futuristic wrist computer. Its combination of an LCD module and an analogue quartz display gives it the look of a fictional piece of equipment rather than a conventional dress watch.

Fossil Galactus Watch
A larger character-focused collector piece
The Galactus model takes a different approach. Instead of reproducing a hero’s gadget, it builds the character into a substantially larger 48 mm design. The quartz three-hand movement sits beneath a luminous Galactus silhouette dial, while a custom caseback reinforces the collectible presentation.

What comes in the presentation box
Fossil’s stated package includes Galactus comic-cover art, a Silver Surfer lapel pin and an official certificate of authenticity. The edition is limited to 683 pieces, making it the scarcer of the two releases by the published production count.
How the designs differ
Choose the Digi-Calc for the film-prop connection
The LE1210SET is the closer match for a fan who wants a recognizable Fantastic Four object. Its smaller case, dual display and Reed Richards wrist-computer concept are the defining reasons to seek it out.

Choose Galactus for scale and display presence
The Galactus watch is 16 mm larger and uses a straightforward three-hand layout. Its luminous silhouette, oversized case and presentation accessories make it more of a character display piece than a screen-accurate prop replica.
Rarity is not the same as market value
Fossil published production limits of 804 Digi-Calc watches and 683 Galactus watches. Those numbers establish relative edition size, but the available sources do not provide independent sales figures, market-size data or review statistics, so they do not establish which model is more valuable on resale.

Launch price and availability
Fossil Japan’s 18 July 2025 announcement listed both watches at ¥49,500 each. Early sales were offered through Fossil.com and Fossil direct stores, with authorised-retailer sales also beginning on 18 July 2025.
Fossil’s current official collection page states: “Our Marvel x Fossil limited-edition watches are sold out.” That status applies to Fossil’s official availability; marketplace and resale listings can change independently. Anyone considering a second-hand purchase should verify the seller, model reference, edition number, included accessories and current price before paying.

What to check when buying one now
- Confirm the model. Look for LE1210SET for the 32 mm Digi-Calc, or the Galactus model name for the 48 mm watch.
- Ask for edition evidence. Request clear photographs of the watch, caseback and any serial or limited-edition markings.
- Match the original contents. The Digi-Calc package was specified with a Fantastic 4 patch; the Galactus package was specified with comic-cover art, a Silver Surfer pin and a certificate of authenticity.
- Check condition and function. Confirm that the LCD and analogue displays operate on the Digi-Calc and that the Galactus hands, lume and quartz movement function as expected.
- Compare the live total cost. The ¥49,500 figure was the Japanese launch price in 2025; it should not be treated as a guaranteed resale ceiling or current retail price.
Bottom line for collectors
The two releases serve different collecting goals. The 32 mm LE1210SET is the screen-inspired Reed Richards replica, while the 48 mm Galactus is the larger, scarcer character watch with the more elaborate presentation set. Both launched at ¥49,500 in Japan in 2025, and Fossil now identifies the official limited-edition collection as sold out.
